Seems like we're starting to see squads creaking into life now that every non-league competition is more or less sorted, and I'm
proper bored, so thought I'd kick this off again in the vague hope that we start to see transfers knocking around and I can get all excited.
- Ex-Woking player Simon Lane has been appointed new manager as Westfield FC.
- Aswad Thomas has been released by Ebbsfleet United. Jack King has finished his contract there and decided to retire.
- Shwan Jalal has been released by Chesterfield.
- Brett Williams has signed for AFC Totton.
- Mark Shelton and Kieran Glynn (one appearance, does he count?) have been released by Salford City.

Totton went shit or bust 10 years ago with predictable results
They are now having another go down the same route
Still Plugging away in the absence of the great one

Totton is west of Southampton on the edge of the New Forest. It's a shithole but has two clubs in the town, AFC Totton have always been the 'senior' team and moved to a new ground in February 2011. Totton & Eling are the 'junior' club and were formed out of the old BAT Sports club that played in the town. They also moved to a new ground in 2010 that is next door to AFC Totton's ground.
It's good to see Brett 'don't cry' Williams moving around the non league clubs of Hampshire................

Harry Arter did
an interview for The Athletic a couple of week back, and it's a fantastic read - goes into powerful depth about the impact of losing a child on his mental health. On slightly more trivial matters, he did mention a potential transfer:
For Arter, a lot may rest on the outcome of this season. His loan is only likely to become a permanent transfer if Fulham are promoted.
The Republic of Ireland international has one year remaining on his Bournemouth contract and, despite the emotional toll of the past few years, has not closed the door entirely on a return to the south coast should Fulham fall short.
“My goal at the start of the season was to get promoted with Fulham, and stay there,” he says. “For Bournemouth and for myself, the best outcome would be that I do sign for Fulham.
“One thing I do feel so happy and pleased about though is the place I’m in at Bournemouth with the backroom staff and even the owner. But in particular Eddie. If Fulham doesn’t work out, and it’s not viable for me to sign there next season, then I’m definitely going to be the fifth- or sixth-choice midfielder going back to pre-season!

KRE-favorite Inih Effiong has been released by Dover. Their top scorer last season with 16 goals in 36 games.

I would welcome him back, maybe released due to the ££££ though

Still feel they should have walked off and abandoned the game. Would have had a much bigger impact.
It has to be walk off despite the score line not walk off if you’re losing.

Then you give dickheads the power to get games abandoned. Maybe suspend the game for 15 minutes which would annoy other fans enough to self police but without either team getting an advantage.

Then abandon and give the winning team three points.

Gillingham's retained list indicates that Regan Charles-Cook's contract expires on June 30th. The club will make a final decision "following a board meeting on June 19 or the date that the commencement of the 20/21 season is formally announced by the EFL."
Peterborough have exercised an option to extend Joe Ward's contract til the end of 2021. He's already made 106 appearances for the club?! Can't track back though.
Chez Isaac has extended his contract at Chelmsford for next season.

Joe McNerney, Reece Grego-Cox contracts extended by Crawley
Ollie Palmer offered a contract extension at Crawley (probably holding out for the Chelsea move)

Charlie Carter is one of just seven senior players retained by Satanage. Eighteen are let go.

No surprise here but Jason Banton has put on twitter that he is a free agent.
Hopefully Stevenage snap him up!

That's vastly over priced..................
