Confirmed £67m split between all National League clubs over 3 months.

This better be based on confirmed net losses per club and not an even split.
67 is the number of National League clubs.

The figure of £20 million is still correct because that was for the full 6 months however the government has decided to divide it into two 3 month funding packages in case things change and we can get spectators back in by January.

So it’s not correct then?

But they’re not getting £20m.

If you’d said £40m then you’d have just claimed that was for 12 months.

Anyone heard about this since it was promised by our trustworthy government?

I reiterate what I said “we shouldn’t start playing until this is signed, sealed and delivered”

I believe from what was said last Thursday/Friday that an agreement was made but the first payment wasn't coming till after the first game- but I'm not certain

We have six points in the bank too. Much prefer that 😁. Money will come if it's been allocated.

Rather have a club to support than 6 points, still no news and it’s gone five o’clock a full week after a promise from this government.

It was said we could only survive three or four weeks without financial support so a week has gone.

I say again “we shouldn’t have started playing until this deal was signed sealed and delivered”

Unless anybody believes we can fully trust this government when it makes promises.........

This promise is far behind the “Best Track and Trace System in the World” promise.

Exactly, this promise is easier to keep. So it will happen.

I don't understand the cynicism or why you would not want the season to start which would affect the incomes of hundreds or even thousands of people.

I get both sides of the debate but at least imo it sounds as though to me that a written agreement has been made between the gov and FA/NL on this matter. I doubt that clubs would have entered into this season if there was not a legally binding agreement that a package would be delivered (or at least some sort of protection against the government dropping out) but at the end of the day I have no idea and I am not well educated on this matter in the slightest. To answer Card Sharp, I don't think anyone in our fanbase want the season to not start for any ulterior motive- we all just want to protect our club!

Surely our players had been bought off furlough when full training resumed, so we were paying wages anyway. So another delay wouldn't have actually made us financially better off?

I think a bunch of our players were/are “pay-as-you-play” so actually playing matches costs money.
We may well have lost less money by not playing (I don’t know?) but would’ve had no income, so it’s a very careful balance as to how quickly we go bust without external support - or £12 ppv...

Dowse said in one of his catch ups that during pre-season the players were training and playing for Woking for nothing until their new part-time contract kick in on the first day of the season. The only player that we still had on a contract was Josh, but knowing him, I doubt he’d take a salary until the first League match in any case.

Sent an E mail to Mr Docherty, did get some sort of reply as i did ask him some furthur questions. Still wont vote for him anyway.......you do not realize what a "proper Chairwoman" you have keeps talking to you and asks your opinions. Think Woking Steve is a bit jealous of you.
Keep going. Shame about the score today though you will bounce back. In this area with the vision you have you will be the next Football league club in the area. Unless Rushmoor sorts itself out and has one team only that is in a council ground. Aldershot think they are the big fish always have. Woking are very soon going to be the big fish. Good luck to you .
