Yes he has, rejected us for Aldershot and rejected us for Ebbsfleet! Having said that I would be pleased if we signed him.

I'd be surprised if we signed another winger full stop. Jarvis and Tarpey will be first-choice and Evans, along with Wareham potentially, will be used off the bench as back-up. If anyone else comes in to cover those positions it will be on loan. It would be nice to have another proper wide player, akin to Loza, but I think that will be low on the priority order at the moment.

Visiting the States and ticking some American football (Soccer as they say over the Pond) grounds is on my 'bucket list' so I may well look at visiting Connecticut :O)

Speaking of loanees, according to the internet, Toby Edser's deal expired on June 30th. Obviously there's a lot of confusion around contract expiry at the minute, but does anyone know if he's been released or offered an extension?

Can’t help but think he’s set his career back a couple of years. Whilst he wasn’t as good, consistently, as people implied, there was clearly talent there. If he’d just accepted a couple of seasons of being an impact sub, I think he could now be either starting for us, or putting himself in the window for a far bigger club. Sadly his agent messed it up for him and us.

If he’d just accepted a couple of seasons of being an impact sub, I think he could now be either starting for us, or putting himself in the window for a far bigger club. Sadly his agent messed it up for him and us.

Can’t help but think agents do more harm than good for players the majority of the time. Especially at this level.

Being 19 years old, maybe he wanted to play 90 minutes every week rather than getting 15 minutes every couple of games?

I’m not sure sitting on a 6-7hour coach to Barrow to maybe come on after 85 minutes is too exciting.
