Would be a neat fit - 40-odd minutes on the train. Hasn't Dowse been in for him twice already as well?Hampshire Card wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 1:01 pmSays he wants to live closer to his family in ReadingBonnybridgeCard wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 12:46 pmGoddard has left Ebbsfleet:

Yes he has, rejected us for Aldershot and rejected us for Ebbsfleet! Having said that I would be pleased if we signed him.

H'ell end up at either Aldershot or Slough if the go up. Wonder if Dowse see's a place for him? Left wing is open I believe.Hampshire Card wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 1:01 pmSays he wants to live closer to his family in ReadingBonnybridgeCard wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 12:46 pmGoddard has left Ebbsfleet:

How is left wing open? We’ve just signed an ex-England international to play there.kansasCard wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 3:51 pmH'ell end up at either Aldershot or Slough if the go up. Wonder if Dowse see's a place for him? Left wing is open I believe.Hampshire Card wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 1:01 pm

According to their website, they are due to play on TV on 20 July in front of a 25% capacity crowd, three days after kicking off their season in New York. Tyreke is still on their “roster”.
I’m amazing at research.
I would be very happy to see John Goddard back, known as “twinkle toes” to my son and I!

American Division 2. The MLS being div 1.
If he got an offer surely there's better (standards) for him elsewhere. But he could well be enjoying life in Connecticut.

Visiting the States and ticking some American football (Soccer as they say over the Pond) grounds is on my 'bucket list' so I may well look at visiting Connecticut :O)kansasCard wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 8:00 pmCardinals Rule wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 7:45 pm

Sporting KC has a beautiful new stadium. Holds 18 - 25k depending on the event. You get to drink beer from your seat! My FIL works the members club. Drop in to KC and I'll show you how we roll :-)AndyT wrote: ↑Thu Jul 16, 2020 7:05 amVisiting the States and ticking some American football (Soccer as they say over the Pond) grounds is on my 'bucket list' so I may well look at visiting Connecticut :O)kansasCard wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 8:00 pm

Re: Ex-Cards - May 29th onwards
Can’t help but think he’s set his career back a couple of years. Whilst he wasn’t as good, consistently, as people implied, there was clearly talent there. If he’d just accepted a couple of seasons of being an impact sub, I think he could now be either starting for us, or putting himself in the window for a far bigger club. Sadly his agent messed it up for him and us.

Can’t help but think agents do more harm than good for players the majority of the time. Especially at this level.Nonsense Potter wrote: ↑Fri Jul 17, 2020 6:45 pmCan’t help but think he’s set his career back a couple of years. Being 19 years old, maybe he wanted to play 90 minutes every week rather than getting 15 minutes every couple of games?Nonsense Potter wrote: ↑Fri Jul 17, 2020 6:45 pmCan’t help but think he’s set his career back a couple of years. I’m not sure sitting on a 6-7hour coach to Barrow to maybe come on after 85 minutes is too exciting.
