You’re just jealous!
Just gone onto a few clubs sites and Sutton’s are £349, Braintree £360 and Southend £400 ( last year) so pretty good value - particularly with the instalments

We had our chance of cheap season tickets and a big budget under Katz and Sarll - and they blew it.

In isolation, 20% would appear a big increase, but it's more a case of last season being cheap.DeckOfCards wrote: ↑Thu May 01, 2025 3:02 pmIs it just me who thinks a 20% price increase seems a bit steep given the tosh we've been served up a lot of this year
Compared to other clubs our season tickets remain very competitive

Re: Season Tickets 25/26?
Many of us, myself included, will buy a season ticket regardless of the price. But if we want to grow our fanbase, attract casual supporters, and build bigger crowds, pricing has to be part of that strategy.
I can personally afford £299, but it’s important to consider those who can’t — especially families or people buying multiple tickets. It adds up quickly.
Let’s not forget, performances this season haven’t exactly been inspiring for long stretches.
We’ve got a huge catchment area and a lot of untapped potential. But right now, we’re often playing in front of more empty seats than full ones. Striking the right balance is a real challenge for any club and its ownership.

What price point would you suggest?readingcard wrote: ↑Thu May 01, 2025 4:10 pmA 20% increase is a significant jump — let’s be honest, charging £24/£22 for entry is steep for the National League. That said, it’s in line with what many other clubs are doing.

Re: Season Tickets 25/26?
If its easy to charge £250 then why does barely anyone else do it? Rochdale charge £200 and who the f knows what Eastleigh are doing charging £99 in January. Didn't realise they were that deperate. But other than them, we're probably in the bottom quarter in terms of pricing still.
Re: Season Tickets 25/26?
Whilst it is still very good value, no one can argue that, it probably makes it somewhat less worth it for the casual fan that will maybe go to 10-12 games. There is a fair few season ticket seats by me that are left empty for >50% of games, maybe the extra £50 will put them off.
20% is a sizeable increase, along with 10% last year, There may well be a few people that just can't afford the £300, They may have only been going because of the good deal that it was. Shame if that is the case, as I said earlier in the thread, we all want this community club......but only aslong as you can pay your way.

Next season seems a lot when you compare the increase to last season (and the £99 ones we had for a bit) but in reality it’s a 50p per year increase from 10 years ago😀

Where exactly do you think this huge catchment area extends to?readingcard wrote: ↑Thu May 01, 2025 4:10 pm

Re: Season Tickets 25/26?
100%. I've just purchased three. For as long as I can remember, I've put aside £50 a month for the previous year and take my season ticket money out of it. Whatever is left over is spent in the club shop. As it is, the kids might be funding their own kits this summer.Kingfield Ender wrote: ↑Thu May 01, 2025 7:17 pmWe simply cannot sit back, pay less and let Todd Johnson lob bucketloads of cash around.

Re: Season Tickets 25/26?
Not many were actually advocating for less really. I expected an increase...slightly more than I had hoped for but understand why.Kingfield Ender wrote: ↑Thu May 01, 2025 7:17 pmWe simply cannot sit back, pay less and let Todd Johnson lob bucketloads of cash around.

Will it lead to less sales? Maybe, maybe not. On the back of 2 consecutive below par seasons, despite the obvious upturn under Ardley that might be more of a factor.
We already know from Jody that there will be more coaching staff and therefore that's more money that has to be funded, but the additional we are paying will be little compared to what Todd is putting in.
Overall makes sense and whilst it is a big hike, when compared to other clubs at this level, it still represents great value.

This is the most sensible thing you have ever posted.Red and White Army wrote: ↑Thu May 01, 2025 5:47 pmWorth noting that our early bird season tickets 10 years ago for the 15/16 season were £295.

Re: Season Tickets 25/26?
My favourite meltdown over prices I have seen was when we went from £99 (crazy) to 129 (i think) and people still said THATS A 30% INCREASE"!!!!!!! (i didn't detect irony at the time)
