In fact that Accrington game with the fancy dressed scoucers that Macca mentioned, was exactly twenty years ago today.

Ooohhh, be still my beating heart. Macca and Jon Boardman running out on the hallowed Kingfield turf for the mighty cardinals.

I was always surprised Boarders didn’t make it much higher in up the pyramid. Was absolutely superb for us across two spells.

Boardman was a shadow of the player he originally was, when he came back under Baker IMO.
