The LIMBS are some of the best I’ve ever seen.

Watching the video, the goalkeeper left his position and placed himself in the middle of the opponent's box, facing the opposing goalkeeper, hoping to score.Red and White Army wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 8:48 pmhttps://x.com/matthibbert/status/191132 ... 36903?s=61devereux5000 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 8:29 pmThat Tranmere last minute 3-3 comeback draw against Accrington looked amazing fun.

looking at the last fixtures Brackley may be favourites to win the league (if connor hall plays) scored again today,Red and White Army wrote: ↑Sun Apr 13, 2025 3:27 pmBrackley going up from the NLN would at least be a bit closer than some. They’ll probably bottle the playoffs again though.
At least we’re likely to lose a northern team from the NL playoffs this season. Unless Forest Green go up.

Re: Next season NLP
Truro (top) could win say 2-0 on the last day and still not go up if Torquay win 4-0.
Re: Next season NLP
NLS
Truro (top on 86 & +30 GD - St Albans Home)
Torquay (2nd on 86 & +28 GD - Hemel Away)
Eastbourne (3rd on 85 - WSM Home)
Worthing (4th on 85 - Enfield Away)
Boreham Wood - (5th on 83 & +36 GD - Tonbridge Away)
Dorking (6th on 83 & +33 GD - Chesham Home)
Barring miracles Maidstone will finish 7th
For me Truro and Worthing (just not BW, Dorking or Maidstone)
NLN
Kidderminster (top on 89 & +50 GD - Southport Away)
Brackley (2nd on 89 & +28 GD - Farsley Home)
Scunthorpe (3rd on 87 - Hereford Away)
Chester will finish 4 - Kings Lynn Away
Kings Lynn (5th on 79 & +10 GD - Hereford Home)
Chorley (6th on 76 & +23 GD - Rushall Away)
Hereford (7th on 76 & +18 GD - Scunthorpe Home)
Curzon Ashton (8th on 76 & +18 GD - Leamington Away)
Buxton (9th on 74 & +22 GD - Warrington Home)
Spennymoor (10 on 76 & +25 GD - Oxford City Home)
Kidderminster and Brackley for ease of travel, though wouldnt mind Hereford back again
with Morecambe down, and Carlisle likely to join them, and Barnet likely to be going up could also do with anyone bar FGR joining them
Re: Next season NLP
Kiddy and Hereford in the NLN for the early 2000s nostalgia

Re: Next season NLP
NLN - Kiddy, and any 1 of Brackley, Chester, Hereford
Re: Next season NLP
Brackley and Hereford from the north. Kings Lynn can fuck off after travelling there twice for one criminal 0-0 and a ballache of a journey for good measure, I've been to Kiddy loads and Scunthorpe haven't spent enough time down there yet so they can stay. Chester Chorley or Curzon Ashton would all be new ground ticks for me.

Re: Next season NLP
On that basis, Brackley and Spennymoor from the North, and Worthing and Truro from the South.

North: Brackley and Kiddy are the obvious two.
Happy to get rid of Rochdale, Oldham, Halifax or Gateshead from the playoff positions. The league will be verrrry northern based if FGR or Southend go up too.

Re: Next season NLP
Carlisle to Truro and vice versa will be a fun logistical journey involving planes trains and automobiles.
Morecambe and wish it were MKD, not really fussed about Tranmere, Accy etc maybe easier than Carlisle though. But Carlisle a new one for the NC ground hoppers possibly.
Re: Next season NLP
When was the last time Torquay was a Tuesday night? Think I’ve been to quite a few since the last one I remember, and that wasn’t cold.kansasCard wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 6:26 pmNot that it really affects me now but Torquay is always a nice away day on a weekend (but usually ends up a cold Tuesday night) + Worthing or Truro or Dorking.

I guess only the older fans will remember losing at Carlisle in the FA Cup (not that I remember the game itself).
Morecambe is a new ground since we were last there.

Re: Next season NLP
I remember the 5-1 loss to Carlisle away in the FA Cup (can't remember the year, at least 20 years ago I guess?). About 6 hours on the coach, only be to 3-0 down and down to ten men after only about 30 mins. I also remember being welcomed into the local Rugby Club Bar next to the ground before the game for a pint. We sat a table next to a couple of locals who turned out to be the parents of Steve Borthwick, who was an England international at the time. We have also play Carlisle a few times in the league when they were in the Conference for a couple of seasons (after this time I think).Meerkat wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 10:26 pmWhen was the last time Torquay was a Tuesday night? Yes, us Legacy Fans have “enjoyed” Carlisle a couple of times. THAT Cup match made me furious at Vince Matassa flapping at crosses.Distant Cardinal wrote: ↑Thu Apr 24, 2025 2:31 amI remember the 5-1 loss to Carlisle away in the FA Cup (can't remember the year, at least 20 years ago I guess?). It’s obviously too long ago to remember FACTS but some Scottish friends of Steve Ferguson turned up (came down?) to racially abuse the Carlisle fans for being English in our league game at Brunton Park. Quite funny really that they (the Scots) didn’t give a fuck that the 50-odd souls from Surrey were probably going to get filled-in 🤷♂️
IIRC I think I ran (slowly) along the front of the terrace giving it the aeroplane arms when we scored there too.

If on the last day Truro win 2-1 and Torquay win 3-0 they’ll both end up on:JAM wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 3:05 pmso who do we want then
NLS

Torquay (2nd on 86 & +28 GD - Hemel Away)
Eastbourne (3rd on 85 - WSM Home)
Worthing (4th on 85 - Enfield Away)
Boreham Wood - (5th on 83 & +36 GD - Tonbridge Away)
Dorking (6th on 83 & +33 GD - Chesham Home)
Pts 89 GS 72 GC 41 GD 31
Truro would be champions as they’ve won 1 more game than Torquay. Mental.

(however we dont want that to happen as that would mean that BW would win the league on GD, unless Dorking win by 3 more goals)
