Almost safe, and just a point behind the Sh*ts. With nothing to play for, finishing ahead of them would be nice, especially after they moved quite a few points ahead of us recently.

7 goals and 2 penalties and still get smashed. Having been to Wembley 4 times and never lost probably won't bother this year although temptation to go sit with the Spennymoor fans especially as it could be the biggest laugh ever 😂

Poor game today, but that's a well earned three points. Not exactly a game of quality, but we were the better side. Thought we looked better with Osude on the pitch. If we keep him and Ward for next season, they're going to be a menace playing either side of a central striker.

Thought Andrews was better and would like to see DKE/Hynds change sides.

Poor game, dry, bouncy, bobbly pitch and thought Fylde one of the worst sides to come here in years. The fact they didn't give it a go when they had to win the game was baffling.

But we ground it out, the boys are on their knees. One more win needed.

So pleased for Dale, played well today and Tuesday.

Doing his best to prove the doubters / haters wrong.

Good job we didn't have him hung, drawn and quartered before todays game eh.

8 points clear. Would have to be quite the turn of events for us to go down now.

Hopefully we finish the job vs Maidenhead so we can relax when the circus turns up.

Hargreaves, who I think is one of the Sh*ts better players, got sent off today which helps. I’d imagine Widdrington jr will now be forced to play lol

Awful game but we won it. Hinds excellent again today and Osude ran them ragged when he came on

Breathing easier now

Even better if he is sent to warm up in front of Moaners

Fylde comfortably worst team I've seen this season

That game comfortable the worst game I've seen this season

Thats us safe now (I know not mathmatically)

Few games of not being stressed and pretending this season never happen (again)

It would take Maidenhead and Dagenham to win 3 out of their remaining 4 games now.

It’s unlikely but possible one of them might. But I highly highly doubt both will.

Let’s get the remaining 4 games done and start looking towards next season.

Well done Cards, another three points. Almost certain to stay up now.
How embarrassing was the Fylde goalie’s dive?

I would have been angry if Shots threw a game to a team below us . I’m hoping Widders is fit to play on Easter Monday .

Pretty dire stuff today but the result is all that matters. Thought we would nick it with Osude getting a run in the second half. Their keeper was, frankly, a tit. Needs a massive shift in momentum for others in the bottom four to overtake us, but I hope we keep at it over Easter.

Chat with players post match: they are knackered after this week. It looked like it, but well done for grinding that out and for remarkable resilience on Tuesday.

Shots need last week’s ref to follow them around, obvs.

And it was their tour of duty game.

Shame no one told the players they had to turn up as well!

Dull first half, few shots on target, but it got more interesting when Osude came on after an hour and showed what he can do.
Gorman went from zero to hero.
Important win today as there were no other losers in the bottom eight.

Ooh, that was hard work but a good win. The team are continuing to work hard and are getting their due reward. I now have no idea if we're safe, but we probably are. 16th!
