Re: Which way?
In many ways, if the decision is taken out of the club's hands it might be easier. If Dale's behaviour costs us that game then surely that's the final straw.
What's the deal with his contract? Is it up this summer or was there a mention of appearances triggering an extension? (And if that's true I must have missed the club announcement...?)

Re: Which way?
That would normally only announced when we publish our released/retained list in the summer.Calluna Card wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 8:41 am

Who claimed he stamped on the muppet’s head? Looked like a leg and arm if he did stamp on him.wokingcardinal wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 9:10 amif he did kick/stamp on someones head as everyone claims, why hasn't he been arrested?

Come on now. We've all seen the video.

Re: Which way?
So why hasn't he been arrested then?
Re: Which way?
To be fair if you saw the bloke he did look like someone stamped on his face, but that’s how he already looked when he woke up that morning!Meerkat wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 9:15 amWho claimed he stamped on the muppet’s head? I'm a football fan (with eyes) not a police officer. I have absolutely no idea!
Re: Which way?
Watch The Masters this weekend and you’ll see the golfers do it all the time.

We should ban you from using the internet before you've had your meds.Growler wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 11:20 amI’ve seen nothing to suggest he did anything other than replace a divot.

Re: Which way?
I’ve only seen the video from the north stand - can see him stamp twice but not clear what his feet land on
Re: Which way?
It was a divot. A sod if you will.

Re: Which way?
I can understand using force if he was the first one there to get the guy off Will for example, but the guy is on the floor and restrained already but two other guys.
The two stamps and with studs - that’s extra and not reasonable use of force in any way.

Re: Which way?
Having endured Gorman's free-kicks all season I'm not surprised at all that he's missed.

Re: Which way?
Yeah, conclusive that he didn't stamp on anyone's head.
I was stood pretty much in line with the incident at the back of the side terrace. The fan was restrained with his head facing towards the south stand (the small seated one to the left of that view) and his legs pointing towards the Aldershot half of the east bank. Even though the fan is still wriggling on the ground and trying to sit up, it's crystal clear that Gorman passes on the wrong side of the fan to stamp on his head.
Given the fan was sticking his legs in the air trying to trip Gorman up* it's easy to see how Gorman might have overbalanced and unwittingly stood on him in the process of trying to regain his footing.** No case to answer, m'lud...
* this bit may not be true
** this bit may not be true either
