Thank you for making it worthwhile getting up on Saturday mornings again.

Although it’s only early days the turnaround is mind blowing. I was quite depressed in the latter part of last year.

Careful - you'll have people saying that he's not the Messiah. He's just a naughty boy who got paid up by York, took the summer off to play golf and paint the walls... but don't forget he was unemployed because he's apparently shit
(and the fact he's got us points and playing better is just pure damn luck so far)

I think it's just refreshing to a professional manager who seems to know what he's doing!!

Fair play to Ardley. Results are what count. Weve rode our luck in everygame but thats footy
He will get us midtable. We will be safe and what happens next season who knows. He is one of yesterdays men to me. He isnt the future but who is?

Did we ride our luck today?

I don’t think so.

Inclined to agree with you, my personal preference for the future was Matty Gray who was favourite until scuppered by our current CEO but fair play Ardley has started well

Ardley has made a massive difference. This is the same group of players but how they are set up and playing is like a completely different team. It was an effort to turn up 1 month ago. Today is totally different and all credit To NA. If we can get 1-2 in think we’ve got a realistic chance for play offs and Trophy final. This isn’t the drink’s talking but it’s helping. Love it!

Wouldn’t say we rode our luck today either.

We were poor in the first half with too much sideways stuff. But the 2nd half was completely different when we moved it forwards quicker.

Could argue we deserved to win based on the chances we created at the end.

I like the way he speaks in interviews, for what it’s worth. He’s calm and collected, and offers an honest assessment of the game. Obviously it helps that he’s unbeaten, and we may see a different side to him after a few defeats. But it’s nice to finally watch interviews without cringing.

What's the future? I doubt he'll be here 20 years from now, is that long enough?

It's not really worth making long term predictions chap. A year from now we may love him or hate him or talk about the bloke that got sacked 6 months ago.

So far so good, long may that continue.

First half, it was like the players still thought Doyle was manager. The second half, particularly after Walker and O Brien came on, we looked a completely different team.

Isn't it nice going to games knowing we aren't going to make subs when we are 2-0 down?

The only side riding their luck was Yeovil when we hit the post I the last few minutes and the ball rolled along the line

They hit the post too didn’t they?

Thought the draw was a very fair result

You're such a fekkin twat.... You can't even remember what you said two weeks ago. Because you're such a fekkin twat you may not understand what I'm saying... So I'll repeat it again...

Echo others thoughts, seems a good appointment. Hopefully he can get the right assistant in place and turn things around. His record suggests we'll be fine and he won't of come here to get relegated so good times are a coming. Watch this space COYC♥️🤍 I would think Neal Cox would be fav for his ass

I wonder if Michael Doyle has kept an eye on Woking to see the difference Ardley has made , it is remarkable with almost the same team . Ardley gives very sensible calm interviews, Sarl could talk the talk , but the aggression and Doyle was a car crash interview, it is obvious who is best at half time without throwing things .

I second this, it was infinitely better spending your entire week fuming and then enduring 90 minutes of boredom

Or having the players fighting in the dressing room and having loans cut short because of the injuries of said fights (allegedly)

What wonderful days they were

Not sure if this is aimed at the Dyche situation, but I’m led to believe the injury did not happen either in a fight or whilst involved in anything to do with WFC

If only there was a thread about Max Dyche and his injury.

This is glorious.

Right card is clearly someone connected to the club, I'm not ruling it out being Doyle or Turner TBH, but they've had a total Regi Blinker with this one and it should be the end of their short-lived Card Board cameo of negative bollocks.*

Anyone who uses the term "footy" clearly shouldn't be taken seriously anyway.
