Re: Max Dyche
Right now, Harries could be playing on his own at CB unless we find someone else.Wokingcard wrote: ↑Thu Jan 09, 2025 1:19 pmBig loss. Not sure I fancy Harries at CB until the end of the season!
Looking at the forecast, the Yeovil game may not go ahead which would at least give us another week to sign another defender.

Maybe we've already signed someone and we're just waiting for the temperature to dip again to make the "scarf's out" tweet...Red and White Army wrote: ↑Thu Jan 09, 2025 1:59 pmRight now, Harries could be playing on his own at CB unless we find someone else.Wokingcard wrote: ↑Thu Jan 09, 2025 1:19 pmBig loss. Not aimed at you WC, but you raise what appears to be the popular narrative about our Agent Harries.Wokingcard wrote: ↑Thu Jan 09, 2025 1:19 pmBig loss. Not sure I fancy Harries at CB until the end of the season!
In ONLY MY OPINION anybody who witnessed The Scummer Scott Cuthbert’s debut at York would have seen an absolute carthorse lumbering about, like a whale trapped in a sack.
But what a WFC Legend that double Scummer bastard turned out to be (before he broke my heart, the Scummer bastard).
Harries hasn’t been as terrible (yet) as that. I’d submit that he’s been part of a pretty shit team and we know his limitations. Can’t blame him for being what he is.
But what we do know he is is a footballing centre half with a good range of passing. He can do that, so maybe the new manager will set up to allow him to do that and Our Very Own Mr Harries will turn out to be ok after all..?
