Max Dyche

Post by GlenH » Wed Jan 08, 2025 8:27 am

Removed from the website. Implies his injury is worse than first thought and he's gone back to Northampton? NA also said Akinola had a niggle last night. At least one CB desperately needed through the door this week.

Thats a big loss

It is now an area of concern and more bodies are required there, especially if Akinola isnt quite right

Im sure NA is on the case though

The Northampton website is still showing him loaned out to us until 1st July.

Big loss if he's gone back either as a result of recall or if the hand injury is long term, and if the later wish him well as he was always 100% committed and despite his age, both a leader and when needed a calming influence

Yep, now confirmed. Only one fully recognised and fit centre back at the club.

This makes me think we will be bringing in a new CB possibly on an 18 month deal that Ardley would want in his team for next year!

I heard last night that Dan Moss is out for the season, is that a fact?

Gutted about Max. For his age, he had some really strong attributes. Best of luck to him. He served us really well.

Last I heard (on here), Odusina was out for the season and Moss until Feb. If Moss is out longer, at least we have options in his position with DKE, Wynter, and even Conte if he's sticking around. Would be happy with a new parter for Harries with Akinola as back-up to get us through the season.

If we're not going to see Timi & Dan this season that's a big loss because they are arguably are best defenders (if Dan is played as RB)

A friend spoke to Moss a week or so ago who said he's out for around two months

I also heard Timi may be out for the season

Reinforcement required

Saw Mossy yesterday without his boot so must be progressing. Hopefully the Feb timing is right.

I can also confirm I have seen on this thread that he has been recalled.

Dyche has a very bad injury unrelated to anything to do with football.

I cannot confirm that I have read in this thread that he has been recalled, because I am an ultra solipsist philosophically speaking and I doubt the existence of anything beyond my own mind.
