January away fixtures.

Post by Adrian » Mon Jan 06, 2025 8:43 pm

Just a heads up for those looking to travel away in January by train.

Both the Saturdays we are at Hartlepool and York, London Kings Cross is shut or a very extremely limited service operating.
Also this affects the potential FAT tie a Gainsborough on the 1st Feb, when Kings Cross is shut, making travel to Gainsborough a lot more longer and difficult.

So, some planning will needed for those who normally travel this way.
Looking forward to see everyone again at Kingfield, soon.
Some interesting conversations will be had.

Go easy on Texas Dave. He's in the USA and so hasn't experienced first hand the perfect utopia we now live in with 56,000,000% economic growth and a 127% government approval rating.

Gainsborough can be done via Reading, so not that bad if going from Woking or Guildford.

Expensive though

Dear Texas Dave, what more is there to tell you? From your pontificating from across the Atlantic it would appear that you know everything. As someone on this thread has already said:"Trump". Which says more about you and your adopted country than I can.

You were the one who decided to bring politics into this thread. Or are you too much of a moron to join the dots?

As Lurker rightly said, this forum should not be about politics but it was YOU who opened that particular can of worms. So carry on with your Texas dream and leave the politics of this country to people who actually still live here.

Can I just say, for the benefit of Our New American Overlord, Mr Johnson, I’m a massive fan of the American dollar, thankyou for spending them!

That said, a nation that potentially puts Elon Musk in charge of anything vaguely important is clearly lead by fuckwits.

The fact that our political leaders have had an unsightly spat with our uninformed American Cousin and have had to bother responding to his fuckwittery, is really fucking dispiriting and makes me fear for the world.

True but it's fuckwittery, so it probably set off your radar.

Sorry to have brought the word TRUMP into the thread.

But even the second one wouldn't help either: MUSK.

As someone wrote "War is God’s way of teaching Americans geography" that explains well everything.
