It's looking worryingly achievable all of a sudden after today's results

I can't see Aldershot ever making it to Wembley, our second home.

The train journeys would be interesting if we both got there.

What a pathetic attempt by Chertsey. I'd be livid if I was one of their fans. I was almost tempted to go and watch that. Glad I didn't.

Draw is taking place this afternoon.

These are the only other NL sides left in the competition. If we get through against Radcliffe, can we start dreaming ?

Aldershot Town
Rochdale or Stockton Town
Altrincham
Forest Green Rovers
Sutton United or Tamworth
Eastleigh
Boston United
Southend United

Without getting overly negative, and ignoring that we now have a different plan about getting the round thing into the big white netty thing nowadays… i.e. to try to do it… I’ll simply point out that 7 of those sides are currently above us in the league, and that our current opponents are clearly taking it seriously since they took a day off work to travel a day early…
Bullishness restrained for now.

If im honest, I couldnt think of anything worse

the journey on the train would be a nightmare, as would the journey home, no matter the result

and the fear that our proud unbeaten record at the home of football could be taken from our rivals, who I believe have never played at Wembley in either of their guises.

Not for me

Yeah but imagine how good it would be to go 5 from 5 against them!

As the grumpy bellowing gobshite says though, there's a lot of frozen pitches to navigate before we have to worry too much.

That could have been a lot worse

longish journey, but they are in the bottom half of the Northern Premier League. However, they did beat York on Saturday, though I suspect York have bigger fish to fry

IF we do the job tomorrow, thats a great chance to get to the last 8

For those that like a bet we are even money tonight, that seems quite generous to me

I would have thought about 2/5 if we play a strongish side

We might as well give it everything. I’d bite your hand off for mid table and a Wembley appearance

I’m slightly concerned that the management were seeing this as a game to test fringe players.
Maybe if we are winning comfortably eh!
