There is no benefit to the Woking football club in encouraging Big Clubs to shark around our young players.

I very much doubt we have to worry about that Growler tbh

Walker isn’t physical enough to open a bag of crisps
Only forward we have trying to do bits for us with the ball fired direct at him, with his back to goal.

...and his header vs. Fylde, as well, is something I don't think any other attacking players we have are capable of.
His header was decent, but we must be watching a different player because all I see is Walker pull out of challenges endlessly and look to give the ball away to another player the moment he gets it, not what consider a "Physical" forward in the least.

Seems more concerned about getting injured than imposing himself as a presence in the game.

Thing is, much as I say starting Conte and Ward as wingers is a no brainer, when they did so with Kendall Vs Braintree they had no support and ended up isolated. Walker offers a solution to that to some degree.

Your description above sounds fitting for other players.... Gorman springs to mind.

The issue at Braintree wasnt the fact that Kendall started instead of Walker

It was because as we had 2 wingers, in a 5-2-3 formation, the 2 wingbacks room to exploit going forward

the problem I have with Walker is that his hold up play isnt great, which is what is required from a striker when playing up top on their own. The ball doesnt seem to stick to him when cleared from/played out by the defence

Was there even 227 people there on Tuesday? Looks even less in the highlights/photos.

I assume we’re counting all the friends and families of the players in that figure.

Anyone know when Odusina might be back?
Maybe Nico could ask Doyle about Odusina in the next interview? Most clubs give updates on injured players so don’t think it’s unreasonable to know.
So that happened. Cheers, Ian! Sounds like he’s not too far away. 🤞🏻

I wanted to clarify that these National Cup games have no bearing on the removal of FA Cup replays, I can confirm the National League was not consulted on the removing of the FA Cup replays from the first round.

With regards to the National League Cup, the Premier league has provided a fund of one million for the National League, which the contributions are as follows :

£10,000 for each club entering the competition.
If the National League team wins a match against the the PL2 team, £8,000 prize money is provided to the winner, along with £4,000 for a draw.
If the PL2 team wins, the prize money goes into a fund & at the end of the competition the money is equally divided by 1/6 to each NL team which competed.

Quarter final winners of the NL Cup matches are provided with £15,000, otherwise it goes into the pot, to be distributed at the end of the competition, final losers will receive £30,000 and winners will receive £60,000.

The eight NL teams who who didn't participate will receive £5,000 each and NL South & North clubs will revive £2,500.

The cost of officials is approximately £80,000. This will be deducted from the £1 million, however all the medicals & ambulances are provided by the Premier League clubs for the competition

Guess that would explain why there was an ambulance parked pitchside.
