Smallest/weirdest team at home, please. Gorleston or Bishop's Cleeve will do nicely.

Bishop's Cleeve beat Torquay didn't they? I wouldn't rate our chances against them at the moment...

Or more succinctly, you could have just written "I wouldn't rate our chances at the moment"

That's an even bigger banana skin than Ramsgate or Weston. Lot of pressure on the manager and team to deliver.

Any idea why he called it the Alan Dowsen derby ? Aldershot legend Scott davies is the slough manager

Bleh. Playoff team from the league below is a bit of a classic banana skin. But I guess if we can't beat lower league oppo at home, we don't deserve to be in the next round!

Dowse played for Slough in the mid 90s I believe.

Didn't Spasov have a nasty injury? Looked reasonable promising for us when he was very young. Was Evans the tall striker? Didn't ever really get a chance for Woking. I'm not sure who Gary is TBH.
Scorer of possibly the greatest goal in the history of the Woking FC Supporters' team

Dowse defending against Ratters and Dennis at Kingfield for Sluff 1993/93.

Time to dust off the VHS of the 2-1 FA cup win at Slough in 1989. An early example of an invasion and the club developing into something a bit special.

Spasov joined us on loan from Oxford when he was 18/19 - was very raw. 23 apps, 4 goals.

Evans came through the academy, featured just 3 times. Had a loan at Westfield, before spells at Bedfont and Hanwell.

Likewise with Abisogun, also came through the academy. Played just 5 mins way back in 15/16 under Garry Hill in a 6-1 home win over Maidenhead in the trophy.

Paul Mulvaney was one of my favourites. We only had him for a couple of seasons but he was brilliant with Buzaglo up front. Worked his socks off and scored loads of goals.

Looking forward to this - Slough always brought a good following to us early 90's when we first got promoted - Remember one evening think they won 2-1 and some of the best visiting limbs ever seen before the LGS was built.
