Many thanks for your replies.Chobham Card wrote: ↑Mon Jun 10, 2024 2:37 pmInteresting player - felt like he was a weird mix of things that you wouldn't expect from a winger.Amber SUFC wrote: ↑Mon Jun 10, 2024 2:24 pmNana Boateng joined Sutton. Honest opinions would be appreciated.
Small, reasonably quick and with very quick feet, but not fast. Liked his composure and his passing, which didn't feel particularly winger-y. Don't remember him coming close to scoring - seemed to prefer cutting inside and then crossing/passing anyway, getting into awkward spaces.
Almost entirely used as an impact sub for us and then for Solihull when he recovered from his injury. 2 assists in 295 minutes looks good on paper, but they're both kind of incidental - taking advantage of oppo defensive mistakes to lay someone in one on one - so take with a pinch of salt.
Not convinced physically, but I liked watching him. Dorking was probably his best game, the #15 here. Almost sets up Amond, and then sets up the second in the next clip.

Rochdale's signings so far certainly make ours look very, very good. Adebayo-Rowling also looks a bit of a crap one.Old Woking Boy wrote: ↑Mon Jun 10, 2024 9:43 pmGeez! That's Sarll level bonkers

That is an insane signing for them. Might be the difference that keeps them up - they must be paying well!

He wouldn’t have gone there if they weren’t.Chobham Card wrote: ↑Wed Jun 12, 2024 11:46 pmThat is an insane signing for them. Might be the difference that keeps them up - they must be paying well!
He’s always chased The Shilling.
Some interesting conversations will be had.

No, but he’ll find out, too late, the grass is not always greener on the other side of the hill.

Don't want to sound negative, but that would be an atrociously mental decision by Luton.
Re: Ex-Player update: May 2022
The lad clearly couldn’t last a full 90 minutes of proper competitive pro football (and why should he? He’s only a kid after all).
Another year of development at a decent level, where you need to be talented to stay on the ball long enough to make a difference, would be the making of the boy.
The talent might be there but he needs to add physicality *IN MY OPINION*.

Joey Jones! There’s a name from the past. Does anyone have the video clip of the defensive calamity in front of the LGS?
