Yep getting a bit farcical although Halifax postponement was due to the weather.

Is there any point of the Trophy given its very unlikely to finish?

Bad weather in January shock! Only going to get worse with the forecast freeze in the coming weeks.
Trophy can't finish as Step 3 and below won't be playing again. Should just be abandoned now.
The FA/NL are in denial if they think everything can just tick on.

Haha I hadn’t even thought of the step 3 issue. Makes our game at Bromley even more pointless then, especially when it takes precedent over a league game.

Of course it is. I honestly don't know what the FA are thinking.

Exceptions can be made for non-Elite clubs to play in non-league competitions (eg Marine played their match against Spurs at the weekend) but I agree it's becoming more farcical by the day. Just scrub the Trophy.

At least Dover got to play a game last night!

Even if the league or gov do not temporarily postpone the league this month and Feb while we ride out this lock down , the chances of many matches going a head are small so the fixture pile up in March at best ( probably April) and beyond will be huge.

And don't forget - last season's trophy final hasn't been played yet!

Unless I am missing something, there is no indication that person has any complications? Fingers crossed.

As it has got a lot worse now, surely they need to look at the options.
