You’re keen :o) Full match! Minus a few seconds here or there which were missing from the VHS copy I had, so the match clock won’t be 100% accurate in it at times.
Re: It was 30 years ago today . . .
Pure coincidence :)

What would the equivalent be nowadays? How good a team would we have to thump?

Forrest/QPR/Sheffield Wed/Derby - a decent sized club with an impressive history, currently near the bottom of a league that they think they don’t belong in.Chobham Card wrote: ↑Tue Jan 05, 2021 2:57 pmFour years before I was born.

No, no, no, trust me, in thirty years time Woking supporters will be saying “Who is Kingfield Ender, and why have they built this impressive nine storey bottle bar overlooking Willow Court in his name?”

Re: It was 30 years ago today . . .
yeah, we were granted the freedom of using the “boing boing baggies” while Stevenage then just copied and stole it from us :-)
I won’t spoil it by quoting it here, but this match coverage includes some really complimentary commentary, especially as Worsfold shoulders in his header. I can still quote it now! So so proud of my team when I first watched it back.
Also, the video doesn’t do justice to just how good Buzaglo’s finish was to put away the first goal. Magical.
What.a.day!

1. Never knew Simeon Hodson was on the subs bench for West Brom that day.
A player I almost think of as synonymous with the Conference given how many times he seemed to play against Woking for various clubs.
In actuality though he’s one of the few players in English football to have been relegated from each of the top 5 divisions at some point in his career.
2. It’s an absolute tragedy that television programmes still never show the third goal in its full glory whenever FA Cup third round highlights programmes are on.
Such a truly wonderful counter-attacking team goal.
