Forrest/QPR/Sheffield Wed/Derby - a decent sized club with an impressive history, currently near the bottom of a league that they think they don’t belong in.

I seem to remember that a load of Baggies fans joined us up at Kidderminster in the early 90s and we started boinging from that day on.

yeah, we were granted the freedom of using the “boing boing baggies” while Stevenage then just copied and stole it from us :-)

I won’t spoil it by quoting it here, but this match coverage includes some really complimentary commentary, especially as Worsfold shoulders in his header. I can still quote it now! So so proud of my team when I first watched it back.
Also, the video doesn’t do justice to just how good Buzaglo’s finish was to put away the first goal. Magical.

Really ? 30 years ? Blimey. What an incredible day out that was. At the end of that season I headed over to NZ and Australia for an OE. Only spent 2 weeks in NZ that time and 10 months in Oz so I went back for a longer look 6 or so years later.....

Two thoughts immediately spring to mind.

1. Never knew Simeon Hodson was on the subs bench for West Brom that day.
A player I almost think of as synonymous with the Conference given how many times he seemed to play against Woking for various clubs.
In actuality though he’s one of the few players in English football to have been relegated from each of the top 5 divisions at some point in his career.

2. It’s an absolute tragedy that television programmes still never show the third goal in its full glory whenever FA Cup third round highlights programmes are on.
Such a truly wonderful counter-attacking team goal.

We got off the coach and a WBA fan made a very rude gesture and showed a 5-0 sign. Loved it for The Human Growbag, Terry Worsfold. Years later I got Timmy Buzz to autograph a programme.
