We’re looking for our first home league win against Barnet in the National league/conference (5 draws and 2 defeats). Including away league matches our record against Barnet is 1 win, 9 draws and 4 defeats.

It was 25 years ago today that the Cardinals beat the Bees 2-1 at Kingfield in an FA Cup 1st Round Replay at Kingfield.

Great finish that, after the quick thinking from Max.

Referee already looking a little suspect..

Watching Ferdinand’s body language during the warm up and said to my Son, Kane’s going to get a couple today. Three minutes later, pulls the trigger, boom!

What a cracking OG, on a par with the Enfield volley from November 1991.

Before this season he'd scored 8 goals in the National League for us. That's his fifth of the season already!

Was just about to say that Cooper picks up too many bookings - could cost us

Definite 2nd yellow. First yellow was pointless to pull the Barnet player back.

Agree with the 2nd yellow but first one never ever a booking.

Ref looks like he just wants to give everything to appear consistent.

Ref got that one right. It was a stupid challenge from Cooper, less than a minute after getting a first yellow. Both yellows were deserved.

Feel hard done by on the red, looked like a 50/50 to me. Both players slide in.

Very good performance before the red and a decent one after, considering. Barnet don't look defensively great, Davison and Max working their nuts off in particular to cover and press. Ridden our luck on occasion at the back though.

You’d struggle to find a much clearer example of a ‘50/50 challenge’ than the incident in question. I’d be interested to hear exactly how anyone suggesting otherwise has arrived at such a conclusion.

Really changed the complexion of the game, from looking comfortable at 2-0, Barnet have been much on the front foot since. Thank god we at least have the lead to defend!

Did Cooper get the ball? Stupid tackle to make when on a yellow....even if you win it...

Before today he'd been booked once in 11 appearances - less than Block, Dempsey and Ferdinand. He's a combative player but generally he does it well. A touch unlucky for me with the second one, but he was reckless and you can't take that risk so soon after picking up a stupid first yellow. Going to be a long second-half.
