It seems like the general quality of the broadcast has been lowered, perhaps to avoid some of the buffering issues we had in the first couple of matches. Most of the time I've had a poor quality but stable picture, but there have been a few instances where it has become really, really pixelated and impossible to follow.
I thought exactly this, even when not really bad the resolution of the stream seems lower than the 1st game. Probably the right decision, but it then needs to be watchable for the whole game.

Good to see the growing collection of flags on the KRE. Should key that going after crowds are allowed to return.

yeh the FC Halifax fans aren't happy with the stream on their forum, couple have already asked for refunds.

I have sympathy for the club, I won't be asking for a refund, but we do need to sort our internet connection /identify what the issue is.

Exactly the same here. I checked everything before the game to make sure it wasn’t us. Broadband speed etc. all fine and as I said before we have no problem with anything else being streamed or downloaded to watch. It’s all you can do really the rest is out of our hands

Pixelated picture will not carry into the game....

You lied. Even adjusting the quality it still freezes. When it works it does so well but it still freezes too much.
Pity as the sound is spot on.

That must be the 'absolute gift' you keep referring to.

Well it is if it works.

It obviously isn’t as you are having similar difficulties.

I’m OUTRAGED that I haven’t had any issues, apart from a little bit of pixelating early on.

Can you fill us in what happened a few minutes ago when it sounds like we nearly scored? Last i saw the ball was about to be crossed in and when the feed came back the commentator was describing how Halifax had finally got the ball clear

For what its worth, I watched the majority of the game and had no issues. Given £12 includes the programme (good decision) I still don't think it's a bad price for the product.

Lucky you! I watched the 1st game and the audio is far better, and I probably lost less of this game, but still missed lots of play when it either froze or badly pixelated.

There must be a minimum broadband speed for this particular stream. Perhaps the Football Club could publicise it and then those that don’t have it won’t a) waste their money b) won’t come on here moaning. Presuming of course that’s where the problem lies and the problem isn’t at source, i.e. the football club. Would be nice to know either way.

It needs to work.

I am not expecting Sky like production but it needs to work. 34 quid so far and an intermittent service.

Can’t be minimum broadband if I can stream 4K TV but not a steady Woking stream
But I will just keep paying because I want a club to watch when we get let in again

Couldn't watch the game today...sounds like it was poor.

Are we trying too much for the quality? I'm not an expert by any means, are pushing the limits of what is possible?

Agree with both bits of this, there are definitely capacity or service issues somewhere in the early part of the stream.
Whilst the drop outs may not happen for everyone at a given time, they occur for a multiple people simultaneously which, given we're all watching from different locations can't simply be down to the last leg provider into our homes.

I'd expect that the hosting server should be keeping a copy of the feed that its receiving and retransmitting which should help to determine where the effort needs to be made to improve things.

Why was Chesterfield's so good last week and ours isn't? I know it's run by volunteers, but the amount of crap I see on social media moaning about the price, it's going to be hard to disagree if it carries on.

What speed do you typically have at home?

If you open a browser to www.fast.com you should get a download speed test.
Repeat this a couple of times to get an average for your d/l speed at that time - best done on the laptop or tablet you were running the matchday stream to.

Lots of other factors to consider but it's a good starting point
