Hopefully there will be some “Dodgy Streams” to get on too.

Ain’t paying them nothing!!
It's split 50/50!

Split after costs - no doubt the costs will be high when SA uses his magic calculator to work them out so we get the massive sum of nothing...

Nick,
I assume revenue is split after a deduction for “reasonable” costs?

I also assume there is no embargo. Or, should the BBC decide to select the game, does that change?

Christchurch v Dulwich Hamlet was the match selected in the previous round.
It is possible our game is considered the tie of the round!

There's going to be a lot of Conf North/South and below in the first round. Guaranteed at least 15 of them.

How shit/boring have our FA Cup 4QR draws been in recent years? After our last vaguely interesting one against Hendon in 09/10 we've had:

Ebbsfleet (A)
Welling (H)
Torquay (A)
Concord (H)
Maidenhead (A)
Boreham Wood (H)
Luton (H)
Ebbsfleet (H)
Eastleigh (H)

Almost certain to be a BBC love in with Wrexham.

I’d rather listen on the radio and donate something so only we get it.

What is it with BBC and their infatuated coverage of Wrexham? The stadium cat rolls over in its sleep and that gets coverage on their online NL coverage. Weird

FA Cup isn’t quite the same this season is it. What the ‘draw’ of drawing Portsmouth/Sunderland when you’re playing in front of an empty stadium and don’t get a split of the gate receipts?

The gate receipts are a loss, although a home tie against Portsmouth or Sunderland might get chosen as the televised game.

So there’s a potential £70,000 TV revenue there.
Plus the £18,000 or so prize money available for winning teams in the 4th qualifying round.

Not quite as useful as a full house, but probably as good as 45% of the gate, if 10,000 spectators at £20 a ticket.

£18k for the win. that would be nice. The prize money has been halved this season, so its £9375 for the winning team and £3125 for the losing team

Even the commercial obligations/regulations document they sent out to clubs this year still has the old prize fund amounts in!

Not sure the qualifying rounds get the same £75k for TV games that the proper rounds get

Imagine being the non league team who gets Man Utd away and can't attend.

Thanks China

they have only had 1 home game this season, and we are all aware of the problems they had with the streaming of that game, using a company that used 'ball tracking', which is all well and good until there is a ball out of play in front of the camera.

hopefully the home side will have sorted the problem out before the game next Saturday

There is money to be made from this tie.

As long as nobody tells the Covid officer the game could be sold to a full GC Lounge and bar too. A three course sit down meal, match programme imported across the border, raffle, bar etc. Quite an atmosphere.

If Dowse wants a bigger budget then this is the match to win. No more Kingstonian's or Ebbsfleet's, this is worth thousands of streams or programme downloads.

Let Rosemary do the pre-match teamtalk.

Or maybe it's because we are in the TOP tier of non league football and they aren't!

It’s also worth thousands of pounds worth of fines if found out. An amount that, in this volatile environment, is enough to put us out of business
