FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round

Post by Adrian » Tue Oct 13, 2020 11:07 pm

Some potential for a decent away draw to a non national league club so whilst Woking fans would be banned, tickets would probably be available to interested “Neutrals”..........

While this is a nice idea it will never happen- other NL (north and south) clubs tried this in the previous rounds and as tickets were only sold online they were only sold to people living at addresses with postcodes in the close vacinity of the home side.

Time for one of us to rent an air BnB near by for the day and share out that address then...?

I'm not sure there should be any advocating of this!

It was also made very clear that it was down to both the Home and Away teams to make sure Away fans (neutrals) did not gain access to the ground..

I would imagine the Club could face a fine if a load of us somehow got in

am I right in thinking that there were York fans at their 2nd QR game at Warrington, or was that just a rumour

It's probably the dumbest rule the government has introduced, and there's a lot of competition.

If we played Sheerwater at home, no-one could go. But if we played Sheerwater 'away' some fans would be allowed.

Just looking at the fixtures, and should we get drawn away in the 4th QR, win and get drawn away in the 1st R proper, our next scheduled home match after Saturday wont be until 14th November.

It's allowed if both teams agree, and revenue is split 50/50 after costs. Unfortunately there's the UK-only streaming rule for cup games, obviously can't do anything about those who use VPNs.

Havant would be a treat. Play the ball to Moussa’s right and keep it on the deck.
Wind up Godders and let the quick boys run at him. He won’t be able to control his desire to tackle. Casey v Poku. Foul foul foul foul foul foul foul off

How would they know? Unless of course they send club officials to act as spotters. Think Life of Brian, “are there any ladies here? Are you sure?”

I suppose it depends on the club - clubs who get just up to a couple of hundred probably all recognise each other.
