I wondered if it was Paul Merson's Son, I often see "Merse" knocking around in Teddington and I know he turned out for Hanworth a few years ago.

Apparently, Matt Robinson (on loan to Braintree - hopelessly, I had forgotten he was still a Woking player) scored the winner for Braintree today against Solihull. Not helpful for us.

Kane Thompson-Sommers scored for MK Don's against Walsall.

Rendell v Wassmer today.
Rendell scores, Wassmer sent off.
I have another 6 three year plans in me if I'm lucky.

Second time this year he has been sent off, at least, he was sent off one of the occasions I’ve seen Gosport this season.
Looking forward to see everyone again at Kingfield, soon.
Some interesting conversations will be had.

Charley Kendall with another duck for Southend. Still hasn't scored yet. Inih certainly has his faults but at least he guarantees goals!

Billy Sass-Davies warmed the bench for Hartlepool yesterday. We could do with a defender on loan...

If I’m right, I think we only have one loan spot left on the 5 available for the match day squad.

Currently:

Vincent
Mazionis
Okoli
Chicksen

I imagine the management are saving that in case we get a key injury e.g. to Effiong or Ward.

We are a little short on numbers at the moment though especially with so many games coming up in the next month.

Quote from Southend forum "apart from running around like the Duracell bunny I see nothing in Kendal that says he's a forward. Recruitment has been terrible". Ooops, didn't take long and it's there great fans he signed for(dig at us.). Shame,

How old is he now? Looked actually quite good in the first season back up here (with Donnellan/Poku in front of him and Cook outside him), but never seemed to do a great deal anywhere near the level he got with us (or was he higher with Torquay?).

Quite a character in that part time era.

He had nice words for us too in his announcement along the lines that they were his best years and he’ll be a Woking fan for life

That'll go down well if he's still living in Torquay.

Regarding Robinson, would we be better recalling him then loaning to Ebbsfleet or a higher side not a direct competitor to avoid relegation. Bit ironic if our own player sends us down on D-Day as if he comes into form he will earn them points. I don't think with this manager it will come to that but.....
