i remember seeing somewhere something along the lines of: 'something something big elbows no. 9 something something' cant say he doesn't fit the bill, not sure hed want to come back after getting dogs from us though.

hes goals per game haven't been dreadful but i don't think he's the 20 goals guy we need, as a blunt instrument to roughhouse for 30 mins at the end of a game to close it out or to bully a CB paring to free up others, for sure, but id be worried about relying on a 33 yr old as a plan A

I would also, the last few seasons veterans have been top(ish) of the scoring charts

Not even David Taylor came back to Woking three times, surely Effiong wouldn't?

19/20 - 16 in 36
20/21 - 2 in 17 (got his League move, shat the bed, then went on crap loans at County and Barnet)
21/22 - 13 in 40 (for us)
22/23 - 23 in 48 (14 in 30 for Shots and 9 in 18 for Daggers)
23/24 - 16 in 28

If he wasn't 33, he'd be getting a League move after this season. 100% I'd take him back.

More clubs than Tiger Woods, but absolutely would have him back - proven at this level, awkward bastard up top, holds ball up, occupies 2 defenders - can't see him coming back personally but would be really happy if he did.

Only if he stops uploading Instagram videos of his penalties after a 4-1 defeat.

Love Inih, but probably a no from me as well. If it's a cost-effective one year offer I'd be open to it, but he's too much of a known quantity in non-league not to have to pay out for at this point, and for us atm I'm not convinced that represents value.

Its a no from me as well

I can see why he could be useful, big, strong, target man etc etc, but weve been there before, he has health/injury issues, and im not sure he would be welcomed back by some of the fans after some of the antics (from both parties) when he has played (and scored) against us

Effiong is good for 15+ goals at this level which is likely to be more than Lewis, Kendall and Walker will score between them next season.

If it's goals we need and he suits Doyles formation, work ethic, needs and budget etc - why not., As long as we put a shock collar on him that went off everytime he turns into a left winger.
I can't see it personally - that's him coming back - or the shock collar.

Diddums. Are you sure it wasn’t the other way round?
Drives me nuts fans slagging off our ex strikers during the game, just giving them more drive to score.
Defenders is different - wind them up and there’s a chance they will try too hard.

I liked Inih but don't think he's the right player for our team under MD.
