Wealdstone
According to today’s Government announcement our home match with Wealdstone is the only home match scheduled where fans are allowed; but very much doubt it will be on.

That's a relief, we have a worse league record against them than Aldershot. The Cardinal One wrote: ↑Mon Feb 22, 2021 9:57 pmAnother club starting to furlough: https://www.wealdstone-fc.com/post/an-u ... r-chairman

Re: Wealdstone
Gutted , it would have been great to see another match. Can we re-arrange/ push any games to after the 17th May so we can have crowds ?According to today’s Government announcement our home match with Wealdstone is the only home match scheduled where fans are allowed; but very much doubt it will be on.
The implications of Wealdstone not playing this game are quite considerable- we could have got a bumper crowd of 3000 + . That's 40-50 k lost.

It's all academic because the season will be abandoned long before that match will have become a possibility.Reading Card wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 8:38 amGutted , it would have been great to see another match. Hahahaha! Love the positivity but...Bowler Hat wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 12:39 pmTorquay are there for the taking. They've got ten of their first team squad out injured. Only won three of their last ten games. It's as good as a bye for us.
“Bye” being the operative word!

I know it's nitpicking, but isn't the Torquay game an FA Trophy game, not league?Red and White Army wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 10:49 amPlus us after we lose to Torquay at the weekend.Bowler Hat wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 9:53 amSo that's three of the bottom five who have discovered they can no longer continue playing.
