Re: Updated run ins

Stortford have been relegated from the North already which probably adds to the problem if they were the most northern of the south. I'd think Braintree will be heading north and as you say maybe others based on those possibly going down from the NL. I would guess it would be Hemel H. or St Albans,...

Did anyone see the Chesterfield fan walking home with the Vanarama Champions sign? It reminded me of someone looking like Growler walking off with the play-off plinth at Bath in 2009.

I've spoken to RGC and know he is going above and beyond what the club can do for him to get his hamstring issue sorted. He is desperate to be back playing for the club.
If he gets sorted, he is the missing piece.

Re: Do you enjoy football?

I have been in Hospitality at Man City, down to standing with 20 people in a field. I have concluded that I like level 6 - 8 (step 2-4) the best, this was highlighted to me by the restrictions brought in at Kingfield. The biggest enjoyment is travelling the country, watching a decent match, being ab...

That was one frustrating game, especially if the equaliser was not offside.
At least the team is one the fans can get behind now.

Re: All-time Appearances

With Casey reaching 250 it got me wondering how many others have reached this mark, it can't be many recently. Has anyone (probably Doylie) got an idea of who is near the top of our all-time appearances? Loads of players had testimonials in the naughties: Scott Steele 400ish. Kevin Brown 350ish. La...

A very even game, we are competing all over the pitch.
It has 0-0 written all over it ... until super sub Pavey comes on.
Our weakest point is Casey, he seems a yard off it sometimes.

When said development was proposed a complaint was submitted about cars parking along Westfield Avenue on a match day on the yellow lines and the club/council doing nothing. On checking it was explained that the yellow lines were only a Monday to Friday 8-6 thing - they were still unhappy. The grou...

There was a slight delay before the linesman flagged for the penalty. That was as his senses digested the raucous din of spontaneous advice being given. Who says the ground migration doesn't make a difference.
