If we had beat Ramsgate I think there's reason to believe Sarll could still be at the club. Obviously it's pure conjecture to say either way... Just as it's pure conjecture, at least at this point, to be sure it was the right decision.

As one of my favourite ever Cardinals, were we to fetch him in, I'd be nothing but supportive, but wouldn't Kevin Betsy represent a bit of a risk? Firstly, his stint at Crawley provides a few things to worry about if we do end up in a relegation scrap. Secondly, his playing style doesn't seem conduc...

If you're such a seer what's the actual problem then? Above you seem to be expressing it's the directors but aren't going anywhere close to actually coming out and saying it. You're as on the fence as anyone else. I see players not stepping up despite what Drew and Josh have said. Action required b...

Not just that, but they have to meet the extremely exacting standards of the average Woking fan who expects champagne football to be played at all times with Championship standard players (but not to be a hobby club and definitely not to overspend) but who refuses to pay £52 for a replica shirt or ...

Growler - even if you loathe the bloke, can't you accept Robinson at least gives us something different than starting three holding mids every week?

Yeah, quite... Even as someone on record that I might have stuck with DS a bit longer, ultimately if we'd have shotgun appointed someone who lost these three games, why do I get the impression we'd just be saying, 'should have given Ian Dyer a crack and waited for someone else?' Now they've made the...

There's been plenty of other suggestions. Sarll was mentioned after Dowse left pretty early on. I'm not going to accuse anyone of revising history, that's your job apparently. Oh, so beautifully petty :') There have been suggestions. The best realistic one probably is Maynard, and that's of some co...

So basically loads of ideas but none that sound very appealing except Danny Cowley... I hope that JK and DV are wiser for the last eighteen months than we are. And what's your idea? If you had your way, Darren would still be here. In fact, Dowse would. For someone who gives so much criticism to fel...

File under 'more revisionist history' for me. Sorry lads. I don't discount he can be a patchy player... But seriously... Ince or Hodges/Williams/type? SERIOUSLY? Edit: I absolutely agree he isn't the same player without Kellermann next to him, no issue with that assertion. Anything else discounts th...

KE... Where were you with that opinion of Ince in the summer when we extended him two years? Smells like revisionist history to me - he was excellent last season.

Was he that regularly arrogant? I'm not sure I have that impression... I think he had an edge to him that suggested a bit of a temper, but a lot of football managers do. I can't argue with the accusation of stubbornness towards the end - tends to be a trait of the occupation.

Ash, how do you define “best”? Apart from Mossy most seem very accident prone. You mean the same Dan Moss who routinely got shat all over on here last season for being the weak link in the back four and too easy to beat? Odd take. I think what it exposes is that of who we considered the best player...

Perhaps if we are going to accept consolidation as a form of progression now is the time. Like I say, I don't know yet. I do think it's a little bit early to be drawing a line under this season, and that's why I think the FA cup exit has turned out in hindsight to have been the final nail for the ma...

I'm not little old Woking. Maybe the perception I have is born of my starting to follow the club permanently when it had just been saved from the jaws of near certain death, yet still having memories of watching the team at Wembley being barely in primary school. So for any suffering along the way I...

I'm just reading the NLP: "they also had Craig Ross to thank for a string of late saves." "it was Ross who shared the plaudits after brilliantly keeping out efforts from Hoti and Alli" "Ross made sure of the points with another crucial save from Alli." "STAR MAN: Craig Ross" That should answer the ...

So rather than saying who isn't to blame, why don't you have some conviction and say what or who is?

I would say, by your own standards at least, RE: Anderson, definitely. And I hate saying it... thing is you complain about RGC not being available every fucking week, but Anderson has only featured in a handful more games...

That's fair enough. Do we add retaining Anderson to that list of mistakenly signed midfielders, yet? The much moaned about Wilkinson has played more games than him for us since the start of last season. We keep hanging our losses on Will every week... I'm just honestly not sure we can attribute anyw...

Craig Ross was a brilliant servant for the club, who particularly in his first two seasons hardly put a foot wrong and was incredibly consistent. He was also not a goalkeeping God who never made mistakes, and in fact was dug out almost weekly for having horrible distribution. Edit: and in terms of J...

I wish Ross was still with us ftr but don't think the current first choice goalkeeper has cost us two or three wins this season... Joe Mac's team has the worst defensive record in the league below and is double digits in pts from safety... Do we seriously believe he's better at this stage than what ...
