Re: Match Thread - Halifax (Home)

Tarpey isn’t a lone forward for me, not even close. Isn’t quick enough to be a threat in behind and lacks the physicality and hold up ability. Spasov looks a real handful and should go on to have a decent career but I would like to see us get an out and out 9 in the door. I think we are that one pla...

Re: League abandoned

What is beyond? And no I’m not up for it Boredrian. I wouldn’t be that surprised if the season didn’t finish. I don’t think it’ll come to that, but it may well do who knows. It’s not something I want to bet on either way. Bit weird. Fair enough Bottle Job. All gob and nothing to back it up. You had...

They are at March and April levels, beyond actually.
Because of mass testing, you know that surely?
It appears not. He doesn’t seem to deal in facts too much. He’s more of sanctimonious hyperbole kind of guy!

Re: League abandoned

‘Locked down’ ? Not even remotely close to being true. It’s been placed in tier 2, like many other areas. And as has been suggested this is why we have COVID officers and everyone involved takes all the precautions necessary. All this chat of not starting and shutting things down is pathetic. Clear...

Re: League abandoned

I think that’s what will happen from now on. You’re seeing it around the world in different sports. Teams with cases will back off, cancel games and isolate their staff. If things do get desperate again then maybe a break will be needed but as I’ve said, we just need to carry on. Not just as a footb...

Re: League abandoned

I did predict this on the predictions thread pre season...... In all seriousness, it’s what will probably happen. Presumably players are being tested? Chesterfield now locked down and we were they only a few days ago!! ‘Locked down’ ? Not even remotely close to being true. It’s been placed in tier ...

Confirmed £67m split between all National League clubs over 3 months.

This better be based on confirmed net losses per club and not an even split.
67 is the number of National League clubs.

The non-league on line states £10 million over three months which I can neither confirm nor deny however the club has issued the statement from the league released at 4.30pm.

Re: Ex-Cards - May 29th onwards

Dont forget they have £750,000 in their pocket as a result of being fucking useless. Plus whatever their budget is as well So possibly 5 or 6 times our budget Think you’ll find that they had an advance on some of that to stay afloat. Id like to think if they had that big a budget they would be buyi...
