There can be a debate about who gets in and the format might have to change but the principle is the right way to go. All of the bottom half either go awol or through the farcical motions otherwise.

There is a third way. I think it happened end of last season in league one? They scrapped the season but ran the playoffs?

I personally think this is the way to go now in our league.

There was an interesting hybrid in the NBA last season as well.

Aside from Bigger issues around COVID and money. Playing non league games in empty grounds just seems pretty futile.

I have zoned out already to some extent. The gap between attending and watching at home was nagging anyway and then we were dreadful at Christmas and now a combo of weather and clubs opting out of their own accord.....just all a bit meh really I did just come in and turn on to HT scores and was bemu...
