It pissed down with rain.

We went to Wembley.

We won.

Thats how it rolled back then.

Re: Rhys Browne

I REALLY REALLY hope I'm wrong, but I worry about going into a season expecting goals from Walker and Kendall. Both good players, but not a patch on the potential upside of the likes of Browne/RGC.

Re: Rhys Browne

When fit, our most exciting and capable attacking player. Sadly, injury ruined last season and IMO we missed him massively. I'm gutted about this.

Good luck to him. He was great in 22/23 - genuinely brilliant at times.

So now just waiting to hear from

Dion Kelly-Evans
Curtis Edwards
Rhys Browne
Will Jaaskeleinen
Jermaine Anderson
I think I'd be pretty happy if all of those remain (as I would have if Cuthbert hadn't turned EVIL).

Not too bothered. All the best Korboa
Whilst I'm generally in agreement, it's more a case of having Kendall on contract already and hoping that Browne (who I rate the highest of the three) stays, rather than a reflection of anything Ricky did wrong.

Re: Ricky Korboa

Best of luck to him. Another player who couldn't really do his best stuff for us due to fitness issues. Pretty average in his first season, but when fit, he was really good last season. Loves to miss a sitter, but scored some crucial goals and generally performed well in an attack that just couldn't...

Wakefield was noticeably fast wasn't he? When he bothered to get involved he could turn away from defenders and be rapidly gone.
Yeah - but he only ran in straight lines and often straight out of play.

Re: Ex-Player update: May 2022

I imagine Pavey, if in demand at newly promoted Braintree, would probably accept a smallish pay-off, if he gets an offer from Braintree. His career isn't doing his career any favours at a club where goals have been an issue and he's not making match day squads. Ince has been in demand ever since we ...

Re: Sarill goes to Hartlepool

What went wrong for him at Woking? Things seemed to be going swimmingly for his first year with you. Would I be right in thinking he made too many very poor signings in summer 2023? In his first season he used about 14/15 players on rotation, all recruited or converted to a high pressing game, that...

Re: Retained list

Looking at the released players, it just looks like we lost the plot last summer completely: Greg Taylor - never looked fully fit. For a couple of pre season games he looked like he could play a bit, but when getting aerial challenges, he just didn't win his headers. Add in being slow and not especi...

Re: Retained list

This is my main concern too. I think we’ll struggle to shift Grego-Cox and Pavey although Conf South team may take Pavey on loan. If we can’t get rid, we’re left with 6 forwards including Korboa. I’d be surprised if any of our current options hits double figures in a season. And if we sign more for...

I'd stick an extension on a house I rent, if I had a 99 year lease and I really needed the space. …which takes us back to the point…who pays for it?? I won £2.70 on last nights Euromillions. Raise between £8m-£10m or about £4m for a piecemeal effort.
But you'd be asking people to build a stadium they won't own, it's a bit like sticking an extension on a house you rent.
