One of the flares shit KE's pants for him? I didn't know they did that.

Re: Sutton Away

I struggle to understand how clubs like Sutton and Bromley (before they left) are allowed to only offer standing tickets and if you do want to or NEED to sit, then you have to go in the home end and behave like a plastic fan. Next season, there is no way we should be offering any part of the LGS to...

Re: Non-League Turnstile League Table

I thought the crowd was about right on Saturday. The whole ground seemed very busy, without being anywhere near as packed as last Monday.

Re: Sutton Away

Woking need to start offering clubs reciprocal arrangements - i.e. no seats in the stand for Sutton next season. Bromley were the same - offered no seating to away fans and yet we continued to pander to them. It would be good to get an explanation for this. I get that with Aldershot we sell out the...

I don't think O'Brien trials for us. If he wants to trial, it will be with a FL club. With his CV, we either have to offer him a deal or he walks.

Was Des Walker today's match sponsor? I know you'll never beat him, but that was a questionable choice IMO.

Re: Match Thread Eastleigh H

Great finish. The comments above about Walker are a little harsh - but he's a sort of 6/10 striker in every area. Wins some headers, runs a lot without being particularly quick, holds the ball up well, shoots (badly) with both feet, works hard, unlucky.... He's not a bad footballer. He's also not wh...

Re: Keep or Release

since NA arrived we have the 5th best record in the League I'm not saying that we are a one or two man team, but I don't think it can be underestimated how much that has been linked to Mazionis and then Okoli. They've been magnificent. The prospect of both of them being back here next season must b...

Re: Keep or Release

It's a weird one going into next season. All the noises are that we had a top seven budget, but even with Ardley's recent work, there's no way that's a top seven squad. Clear out needed. Some valid points about retaining certain players who can do a job (Tunji, Moss etc...), but if both of those sta...

Re: Keep or Release

DKE Vs Moss is an odd one. Both uncomfortable on the ball, both excellent in the air. Both not really versatile, in that they don't convince anywhere but right back. Both behind Hinds for me. Arguably both could be decent in a team that has more ball-playing players in it. Sadly, when you have Tunji...

Re: Keep or Release

The clubs who have got promoted in recent seasons all finished in the playoffs or came down from League Two the season before though. They didn’t spend the season before hovering above the relegation zone: Barnet (2nd) Chesterfield (3rd) Bromley (7th) Wrexham (2nd) Notts County (5th) Stockport (3rd...

Re: Keep or Release

Keep
Jaaskelainen
Hinds
Timi
Beautyman
Ward
Inih

Think we will see:
Moss
Akinola
Gorman
Andrews
O'Brien

Not sure about anyone else. As discussed, would love the giant young loan centre backs back, as they're mint.

Didn't he try to play on? Blimey.

Best of luck for his recovery. When he came in, he really upgraded our left back options. Didn't get much game time recently, but was great on Monday before he went off.

Re: Ryan Jones Aldershot

I think it's fair that some Aldershot fans are annoyed about this. It was a robust challenge that under the current laws, could have been interpreted differently (arguably a perfect tackle pre-2000) due to the force involved. Hate to see a player injured, but I suspect the bigger anger at the time w...

Re: What is our capacity?

In Adrian's defence, the club have made it clear in the past that it's not always about how many people you can squeeze into an area, but safe exits etc... that also determine the capacity of each part of the ground - BUT - nothing has changed since the last time Aldershot visited and another 600 pe...

What's the story here? Why's it half empty? Frustrating to miss out on a ticket when there's so many empty seats.
Seems mad to have announced it as a sell out. Loads of room in the LGS and moaners.

He's the perfect striker to come off the bench to change a game. Not his fault, as he's doing a lot of running, but he looks like he needs a rest.

Do cost increases not apply to the football club too?

The reference to WFA is just weird. Haven't pensions just gone up significantly higher than the WFA? Wasn't it protected for those who were most vulnerable?

Are you a boomer by any chance?
