Re: Spasov and Lofthouse loans extended

Casey has been solid for us for the last 2 years. However the last 6/7 games he has been pretty poor and one of the culprits of hoofball that clearly isn't working. I have always liked Josh but feel like based on the last couple of games we could do much better if our budget is competitive. That be...

Same season as getting beaten about 4/5-1 by Stevenage at home too?

Re: New podcast episode

Thanks gents, I enjoy the pod. My questions would be: - Companies House lists Peter J as controlling shareholder. what is the current situation with the mooted takeover? Have Katz and his investors bought a controlling stake in the club? If not, what is the timescale and what are the steps? - how d...

Re: From Twitter

I don’t think the appeal can be rejected by the Council. The appeal is decided by the Government Planning Inspectorate. Re Wayne Gold there were 300,000 reasons why the club thought he was great. I believe he was introduced by Alexander Jarvis. Thanks. Weird it's still classed as an appeal when the...

Re: From Twitter

So it appears Gold has got what he wanted, first refusal on the land, and as feared by fans at the beginning, he has zero interest in the football club. Is that right? He had exclusivity on the development for a certain period of time, which included the provision of facilities for the club. If he’...

Where's the 300k?
The club’s latest accounts, released this week, show a very healthy cash position!

Considering the losses we’ve made, I think it was sensible not to spend it all in one go.

What would the equivalent be nowadays? How good a team would we have to thump?
Forrest/QPR/Sheffield Wed/Derby - a decent sized club with an impressive history, currently near the bottom of a league that they think they don’t belong in.

Re: It was 30 years ago today . . .

I’d love to know what tactical changes Kev would have proposed when we were 1-0 down, although he was probably still supporting Aldershot and Chelsea back then.

Re: Interviews

The comment on loans is a tough one. Having so many young players who don’t belong to the club arguably affected the motivation for the derby. Individually, it’s different. Whilst I’ll probably get shot down, I think Dempsey’s our most talented midfielder and having three of our own midfielders didn...

Re: Match Thread: Woking v Aldersh*t

I don’t want to sound controversial, but the current set up and tactics aren’t that dissimilar to a lot of our time in this league under Dowse. The difference before was that we had Moussa/Gerring as a genuine threat from set pieces. Currently we seem to be expecting Ferdinand to replicate this on h...

I won’t abuse you, because you’re doing it yourself. Have you spotted your error yet Stu(pid)? Is it nonsense or just plain nonce ? I’m a bit worried you don’t know the difference. I know you get stuff mixed up. You might want to make sure you don’t get those two words the wrong way round!
