Rick Parfitt came from Queen Elizabeth Way on the Elmbridge Estate (2mins from the ground) and went to Highlands School.

Singer Billie Davis (a bit of a Northern Soul cult legend) also comes from Woking.

No, no, no, trust me, in thirty years time Woking supporters will be saying “Who is Kingfield Ender, and why have they built this impressive nine storey bottle bar overlooking Willow Court in his name?”

I believe that Venables did play. The game was also the first time in our history that the Cardinals played in a solid red shirt and not halves, the reason given was the Liverpool style strip would be easier to see under the new fangled floodlights, some of the first in non league football. Are you sure we’re doing okay? Was it an Amish plum on Shotsweb, or Stuwfc that said the only reason we’re nearer the top is because we keep beating teams that are below us?

The fact that two thirds of the leagues teams are now below us is totally irrelevant apparently.

I felt sorry for Chris Ingram for having to pay those two loons off, after they trumped up a spoof death threat of their own. Pretty ironic considering they were threatening to knee cap and kill people. https://www.wokingfc.co.uk/news/article/2597/unacceptable-behaviour/ https://pbs.twimg.com/media/...
