Re: New Dowse Interview

We were once the biggest team in non league, now our aspirations are so fucking low. Sure we have to be realistic but as mentioned before we need to shake this 'little poor , part time, skint woking- we are lucky to be in the conference' thing. Torquay or Notts County are both in this league for a r...

Re: Form Table

Its a change of mentality thats needed. Maybe somebody should have told 'Little old Braintree' that they had no right to finish 5th a few years ago and made the play offs. Should have told them it was all about budget and winter and they had no right to compete with the bigger clubs at the top of t...

Re: Form Table

The league doesn't lie 5th from bottom if you include Dover. Also Lynn have furloughed half their team. Take out those two then that's who we are up against. If crowds were allowed in I wonder what an impact of a drop in say 500 would make. We are terrible to watch, we dont win , we dont score many....

Re: Form Table

All pro clubs are in the same boat. 25 years ago yesterday we beat Macclesfield 3-2 in front a bumper crowd when the football league was in touching distance. Just check those photos on fb. Fast forward 25 years and we are now comparing our self's with Wealdstone and Altrincham, with the same wooden...

Re: Form Table

At the point of slashing out fees (and going full time next year) I think we have moved away from being poor little old Woking , smallest budget in the world. We have used that excuse for 20 odd years despite decent crowds and being in one of the richest places in the country. Its good to have Lozza...

Re: 11 in 18

Dowse seems to fall out with a lot of players or just dismisses/ cuts them out. I appreciate a few of the players deserve it but its way too often for my liking.

Thank fuck we are not allowed to attend this year.

Re: Season Tickets

Fair enough about Aldershot. But you can’t really compare us to Reading and Soton as they have millions of TV money every season. Should we even be trying to make short term revenue from kids ( particularly young kids , lets say under 11's) ? In my opinion we should be building for the future- 3/ 5...

Re: Season Tickets

£49 for a 15 year old to attend up to 22 matches is too expensive - really? Nope good value for a 15 year old But for younger kids who we are trying to attract or families less value. Are we trying to make sure term cash or build for the future ? As mentioned Aldershot under 11's free with a paying...

Its not that long ago that an adult ticket was around £300 so the £189 is still tremendous value and with 2 kids tickets you would still come in well under that....

Re: Season Tickets

£49 is too dear for 23 home games??? at £2.13 per game???? Shall we ask the club to pay fans to attend then? Kind of missing my point. I'm not saying its not value for money IF you come every game. But most kids won't. The kids that watch us today will hopefully become the fans of tomorrow and will...

Re: Season Tickets

Just my opinion here as a long term supporter I appreciate the £125 or £99 season tickets were never going to be around for ever. Although for building a bigger long term fan base this is a reasonable strategy. We bagged 2000 ST's which is quite remarkable. With good off the field revenue and second...

Re: Paul Hodges re-joins the Cards

A creative midfielder who can score , create chances and win pens Great to watch, good entertainment Gives us a bigger squad/ options for the two games per week One of our own So what's not too like people ????? Personally I was gutted to he left. Reading between the lines he fell out with Dowse and...
