Re: Match Thread Barnet H

Absolutely splended performance from every one of our players today i thought. You could see 1 or 2 are not quite 100% match sharp but like i say, full credit to them for the effort and belief. Just imagine how good we could be with all of our players available and 100% fit? We can dream. Must admit...

All the hundreds of Barnet fans must be stuck in the m25 diversion traffic. I'm sure they will be here soon.

Re: New signing

Is there some stipulation somewhere that we must have at least 2 players with a famous dad in the match day squad at any one time?

Re: Post match BBC Interview of Michael Doyle

So Luker has picked up an injury. Phew thought he might have been recalled like Dyche.

Akinola and Ince also injured. Full credit to MD yesterday for getting a result with a wiped out midfield after Oyeleke going off.

Re: New Signing

Makes sense. If MD is sticking to this formation we need some energy and pace up and down that wing. Casey is a top left back in a back 4 but not suited to being a wing back. Also the style(if you could call it that!) of long balls out to the flanks means a bit of height is required as well. MD clea...

Blimey, full credit to him for taking responsibilty. So refreshing to see a manager not blame everything and everyone else in the world apart from themselves.

Bizarre league table

So Hartlepool despite being 3 places off the play offs, are actually closer to getting relegated than they are getting into the play offs! As it stands with 9/10 games to go, it could be any 3 from 13 candidates to join Oxford down the trapdoor. It is really quite fascinating how close it all is.......

Looked like a dead leg to Walker.

Any chance of Kellerman, Browne or RGC appearing again this season?

Re: Match Thread Kidderminster H H

I know beggars can't be choosers and Ince has his knockers, but is a midfield 3 of Akinola, Oyeleke and Edwards what you need in a relegation dogfight of a game? And again, josh casey left wingback? Twice crosses have been intended for him!

Re: Tuesday thoughts & MDs Record so far

A lot more money has been spent , but we still haven’t got a number 9 , I am sure they cost the most money but I think Edwards and a proper centre forward and we would be in a better place than we are now. Not sure we needed all the other new players , we now have quantity but apart from Edwards an...

Re: Tuesday thoughts & MDs Record so far

Lewis does a job? He beats a player, stops and thinks 'I've beaten someone' and then loses the ball or doesnt cross it. Another terrible signing Exactly. Go back 12 months, and think where we were. If someone with a crystal ball said this time next year, your most creative attacking player will be ...

Re: Ex-Player update: May 2022

Appearances/goals/assists 2023/24 Lewis: 19 apps / 3 goals / 2 assists 2022/23 Lofthouse: 40 apps / 4 goals / 0 (zero) assists As said, fair enough. Those stats are slightly skewed though, 14 of those Lofthouse appearances you included are as a sub. Very surprised he had no actual assists at all la...

Ben Herring’s left Gloucester today as they’re going full time, doesn’t work with his business as it didn’t with us.
Rumours are he’s moving to Scotland to join Connor Sammon at Alloa.
There must be a better Plaice he could move to?
