Re: Kings Lynn Stream

We’ve lost to the better team there, sadly. Very poor and disappointing result if we wanted to be looking up, rather than down. Absolutely had to and should have won that. Too many soft free kicks given away all over the pitch - not the referee’s fault. Ah, well, on to Gillingham and Yeovil! If we ...

Your accountant would advise you otherwise.

You need a lot of money to burn if you spend it on a football team.
I think thats what I said...
I know it’s a bit of a dream, but I just wouldn’t want you to burn your money mate.

Re: John Katz Interview

I'm actually not that puzzled - if I had enough money there would be nothing I would like more than to invest in a football club. I don't think I am alone... There are lots of people out there investing in football - either alone or as a consortium Your accountant would advise you otherwise. You ne...

Re: John Katz Interview

Surprising as it might seem there are lots of examples at our level of people getting involved in football clubs without any obvious financial payback... the motivation could be community, turning businesses around or just a desire to have a stake in British football culture. The Barrow guy is US b...

Re: FA Cup

Not surprised at the choices, big names with a touch of stereotypical “Butcher, Baker and Candlestick Maker” based on quirky team names.

£12,500 is the payment, be interesting to see what Gillingham’s streaming service come up with and how many take it up.
Presumably it’ll be split after expenses?

Re: John Katz Interview

Agree with what Jonwoozley says above, I’m also keen to know what the motive is. There isn’t much money to be made (if any) from Woking progressing if we’ll be paying full time wages, the money is in the land, not so much the club, so why Woking? I thought he stated his reasons clearly enough and w...

Re: John Katz Interview

Be interesting to see how this is done, because we all know the best part timers are better than the worst full timers.

We are the best Part time team in the country, so this is going to have to be properly implemented.

Re: FAO Chobham Card

FWIW, because they won’t allow the club to show their stream to a group on our premises, I won’t be buying the product from them myself. Very mean spirted and greedy from their part. I understand others will want see the game, perhaps making sure as few as possible streams are purchased getting as m...

Any reason bbc Surrey are not covering the game?
Boreham Wood charge a ridiculous fee for covering their matches.

BBC Three Counties obviously have paid up.

Re: Crowd behaviour

As a wider point...I think people were mostly sensible during the first lockdown from March - June or whenever it was. As they thought if they avoid contact and follow guidance we would all get back to normal by the end of the year. But now, with further restrictions looking likely, and no clear en...

Chike Kandi, comes on as a substitute and makes a massive impact for Aldershot in their defeat against Woking!!!!!!!

Someone had to get it on here.

Now, a big team at home, for the telly money, or home to the lowest ranked side.

On away draw acceptable in my book, to a non elite non league side.

Then become a neutral.

But we all know it’ll be away to Torquay, Hartlepool, Chesterfield or Barnet.
