Re: Kit design

Aye aye captain Morgan. So a local business has become major sponsor or the local football club (and biggest in Surrey). Applause..... Seems someone has their titties in a wrangle over where the logo is placed I hear? Well would you Adam and Eve it? Quite simple. Chuck the new round badge on the lef...

Re: Our worst run of form...ever?

Do we really give a fuck? No not this year. They can pick the ball up at the 10yard line, take 4 attempts to run 10 yards and punt for all they are worth before the vast majority would raise an eyebrow in the most Roger Moore fashion.

Next year most certainly yes.

Today, no.

Reverends thought for today

A very good morning to you ladies and gentlemen. It seems some of you have fallen off the good ship Letshaveacuddle and returned back to your mad old ways. Well ladies and gentlemen, please let me serve you up today’s breakfast which, I assume, is currently being presided over by ‘the management’. Y...

Dear Mr Adrian I feel as if I have to challenge this Nonsense that has been accused of Potter. He had merely pointed out a spelling mistake in your tag line, which you are so rightly proud of having such house hold names follow you on that standard of showing how popular you are, called Twitter. I r...

Local Saturday league team urgently requiring help

Bit of a rush this but hopefully someone can help us out. If there is anyone out there who would be available for the next five weeks to roll back the years and dig their boots out? We are currently looking for players with reasonable experience (or at least a half decent CV) in the following positi...

Certainly not me but this thread is exactly the point I’ve been trying to make in my rather obscure way. Things were always much nicer and fun back then. These are the characters we miss and brought variety and humour to these boards rather than the ‘must have the last word’ brigade. I rarely read ...
