Re: Updated run ins

It’s a bit bonkers isn’t it? Those lovely balmy storm-free but empty evenings in August (football should only start on the last day of August IN MY OPINION but that’s a different point!)September, October & November seem a long long time ago now. I think we all said at the time it was madness not t...

Is the whole season finishing on 20th April based on the availability of Wembley for the Playoff Final (4th May)?
On the subject of Play Off Finals there is a possibility that Coventry could be playing FA Cup Final on Saturday 25th May and then Play Off Final on Sunday 26th May

Re: Promotion and relegation to the NL next season

Brackley are perennial, get into the Play Offs and then lose out - hopefully this will be their year.

Quirky little ground and there are some great pubs in Brackley.

Because of the geography, they would do less travel in National League than they currently in a regional league

Played 21 Won 7 Drawn 6 Lost 7 Scored 20 Conceded 22 So ppg is now 1.28 per game which over a season is 59 Interesting though First 10 games W2 D3 L5 F7 A11 Pts 9 (Over a season that gets you relegated) Last 11 games W5 D3 L2 F13 A11 Pts 18 (Over a season is play off form) So clearly a huge improve...

Wouldn't be surprised to see Maynard back there next season after the torrid time he's had at Notts County.
Or Luke Gerrard when he leaves BW at the end of the season ?

Re: Updated run ins

Buts and it's!, but if Farnborough continue with there current form and sneak promotion will that put pay to our usual Xmas/new year hate fest with the Aldershot?. I'm hoping not cos looking unlikely but conceivably it could end up Ald v Farn, Wok v Dorking.🤨. Realistically Farnborough and Dorking ...

Re: Updated run ins

When Bishops Stortford were put into NLN there was an argument going around that although St Albans were further south, it would make more sense for St Albans rather than Bishops Stortford to be placed into NLN because they are right by the M1 and whereas Bishops Stortford would have to go down the...

Re: Updated run ins

Stortford have been relegated from the North already which probably adds to the problem if they were the most northern of the south. I'd think Braintree will be heading north and as you say maybe others based on those possibly going down from the NL. I would guess it would be Hemel H. or St Albans,...

CardsBoard has been true to form as ever !!!

We could have signed Messi in his prime, and some on here would still manage to find a downside

Re: Ex-Player update: May 2022

AFC Wimbledon play at Plough lane , sure they moved but came back to their historic home. It isn't their historical home. Whether it's AFC or the original Wimbledon/MK Dons, neither of them ever played at Wimbledon Stadium where AFC's ground is now. The new stadium is just a matter of a couple of h...
