Ok, go on then, if you've got something to say, say it, none of this pathetic 'I've got a secret' bullshit.
Next it will be "I'm happy to discuss it in person if you wish".

Re: Retained list

That's how I saw it: RWB - Moss RCB - Wynter DKE provides cover for both. I actually thought Moss improved at the back-end of last season so not unhappy with that. As a wing back he is getting forward more often under MD - just needs to brush up on his finishing* and he could well be contributing 1...

Re: Next Season's Away Kit

Or just 'Woking' as a direct replacement for 'yellows' While I appreciate the irony of grown-ass men shouting “Yellows!” is not really the zenith of witty repartee, just bellowing “Woking!” is a bit naff IN MY OPINION. It’s the sort of thing that you’d get at school netball or heaven-forfend… the g...

Any chance we can stay away from tattooed 'ballers' ?
That rules out about 90% of non league footballers.

Re: 1st Signing

Did anyone else pop on YouTube to watch our 3-3 draw with Torquay? a certain Ben Wynter scored last minute. I forgot Gerring got sent off in that game! Yep - Gerring put too much pressure on himself by slagging off Torquay in the weeks beforehand and making it all about himself. Culminating in a st...

Re: Retained list

Is it normal for non league to have such a high turnover ? There seemed to be a new player every week under Dowse , I do get a new man wants his own players in but it’s hard to rebuild a whole team in one season. Look what a mess Sarl made having a tinker . Sarll did alright in his first clear out ...

The only disappointing thing is that it the fee we paid for him was probably in the Pavey £30k range. That’s quite a lot of money to only have him for 1.5 seasons (less if you take out the time he was injured).

Re: Rhys Browne

Slightly happy with that to be fair. We already have 4 strikers signed retained for next season, we didn't need a 5th who did very little for us last season.

Was excellent in 22/23 but his career to date suggest that was a one-off season.

A very quick google turns up this… Caught up in a drugs bust, Effiong — who still protests his innocence — was given three months in jail. Watching Football Focus one day behind bars, with a girlfriend now heavily pregnant, it hit Effiong, then 23, really hard. He had to change his ways or lose it ...

A weird one. He’s got a 1 in 2 scoring record at Dover (2nd season), Aldershot and Dagenham. Just never did quite as well for us.

He deals drugs to kids as well.

Does the blackout really only cover when the Premier League is on?! Surely 3pm telly games aren’t damaging to them but are more damaging for lower clubs? Well, it's being happening for a few years now, do you have any evidence that some EFL game on TV at 15.00 Saturday affects our attendance? Nope,...

Got there about 7.10 and it was all fairly civilised though the parking was beginning to cause issues in Redding Way.

Entertaining stuff, two penalties and a red card given, but unfortunately the Knappers succumbed 2-1.
Any idea what the crowd was, out of interest?

One of the few times that Hyde was not given offside, even though he probably was if im not mistaken, is that Durkin as the ref. Depends how much we're paying him and how bad this rumoured issue with his hearing is. He might well stick it out. I noticed that he wears hearing aids off pitch - are they allowed on pitch? They surely must be allowed. But depending on the type he has, they might be too annoying to wear while play...

Re: Promotion and relegation to the NL next season

Wakefield's goal in the final is worth turning your phone sideways for . Helped undoubtedly by some non defending from another former Card, Nicky Wheeler. The fact that Wheeler and Wankfield are starting regularly for play off teams shows how big the drop off is from NLN to NLS. Being a winger with...
