Re: Aldershot tickets have dropped

To be fair, the lack of police last Boxing Day was surprising. It made it so much easier for melts to throw things without repercussions.

Re: Aldershot tickets have dropped

We've moved on to bricks now I'm not sure that is something that is even remotely funny and should be posted on any forum. The person hit suffered a double break in his foot. It also nearly hit someone in the head, which would have been even more serious. The lack of communication from Aldershot wa...

Seems to be a reduced allocation of 900? Not that we’ll sell that many anyway.

Re: New Manager

I’m not too bothered about the Trophy this season, although I may be if we get to the QFs. But we need to actually start winning games and Saturday would be a good time to begin. Plus the next round of the Trophy if a free weekend without any league match scheduled so not like we’d be pushing a leag...

Re: New Manager

Not just that, but they have to meet the extremely exacting standards of the average Woking fan who expects champagne football to be played at all times with Championship standard players (but not to be a hobby club and definitely not to overspend) but who refuses to pay £52 for a replica shirt or ...

Re: New Manager

You are Meerkat AICM£5. It’s a broken squad. The players we’re relying on vary between (genuine) kids like Williams and cussed old campaigners like Scott Cuthbert (gods bless him!), but is interspersed with those players (I won’t name them) who just aren’t performing at the level required, and who ...

Yes if we expect to match Wimbledons level that’s a big investment. Their desire and commitment at 5-0 up is something our sorry lot should be made to watch.
Just matching Ramsgate’s level would be nice right now.

The big rush is that we’re dropping like a stone and the longer they leave it, the less attractive an option we are for a potential new manager,

Bromley at home November 2016, Fabio Saravia late wonder goal, so so cold, couldn't feel my toes despite having 2 pairs of socks on.
OK I take it back. That brings back memories. I actually considered leaving because I felt my toes were getting frostbite.

Me and my chums refer to anyday thats cold as a 'Damon Lathrope' day ...it was the day poor Damon laid there for half an hour on an afternoon that I swear was the coldest day ever. I felt sorry for myself, let alone poor Damon, who was in serious pain and a life changing injury that no one envisage...

Barbara probably made the grandchildren up to avoid talking to you. I understand that Barbara went and spoke to her supervisor regarding working with R&WA, and their advice was “Babs just make up some dull shit about grandkids or cats, and maybe he’ll go off onto a NL football forum and leave you i...

Re: "Sin-bin trial plan recommended for professional games"

Whether I agree with it or not is not the point. At the end of the day it is just your opinion and I’m sure that there are many people who have as much, or possibly an even greater understanding of football than you who disagree with your view. In my opinion ( and others may disagree ) you should t...

"Sin-bin trial plan recommended for professional games"

Was reading this on BBC Sport earlier (https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67549886) How likely do we think this would be trialled at our level? Apparently it's already been trialled up to step 5 of non-league. Hopefully it never reaches the National League. Refs struggle at defining what is a simp...

I assume Colliers Wood are flying in a league or two below us?
It’s alright though because KN will claim they had a better PPG than us.

That impatience leads on to the sort of stuff that had people frothing at the mouth over us losing to Southend (who were ppg better than us) or Halifax (when we battered them and fucked up late) or Bromley (who are now second, were third at the time but still prompted a "why are we losing to clubs ...

Surely Robinson would be a better option than either Bradshaw or Akinola?

Then again, it may be a classic case of someone becoming miraculously better as soon as they’re not playing.

We're not actually going to be able to get rid of half the squad though. "We're offering you Manny Oyeleke. He's been injured for two years and only played through injury in pre-season to earn a contract then disappeared again. Any takers?" Unless we loan some of the non-injured players out but not ...

We had time with the last appointment though as we were just meandering towards the end of the season with no chance of getting relegated.

It’s embarrassing how bad we are at the moment. Boreham Wood had only scored 8 goals in 10 home games before yesterday.

Roll call for Chatham Town away anyone? We've got a good record against Hornchurch. There is a 2nd chance against Wood on Tuesday. I hear Anderson might play. Chant for Saturday: If Oxford score, we're in the bottom four. Kellermann, Wilkinson, Anderson, RGC & Browne all back and we have a chance o...
