If we go full-time, is Casey really the best LB available?

Be honest.
Possibly. I think he’s pretty good even at this level.

It’s more that I don’t think Dowse will want to get rid of his favourite player.

Re: Spasov and Lofthouse loans extended

The only difference between Garry Hill's part time setup and Dowse's part time setup is Garry's trained for a couple of hours in the morning and Dowse's train for a couple of hours in the evening . They both still only got/get paid 40 weeks a year, and both still had other jobs . That's what I mean...

Haha I hadn’t even thought of the step 3 issue. Makes our game at Bromley even more pointless then, especially when it takes precedent over a league game.

Yep getting a bit farcical although Halifax postponement was due to the weather.

Is there any point of the Trophy given its very unlikely to finish?

Re: Spasov and Lofthouse loans extended

I’m obviously not a football coach/manager but I just don’t see Spasov to be our goal scoring problem solver. Maybe we are treading water until we are full time offering decent contracts but we need an experienced mobile goal scorer with 20 in his tank. I moaned about Hyde but seeing our toothless ...

Re: 12th

But last season we had generally played the same amount of matches as the teams below us, not more.

It's more the fact we havent looked like scoring much in the last month coupled with our next 7 games looking difficult on paper.

Is everyone on here just called Wayne now? So you didn’t answer the question then. What have case levels NOW got to do with the decision to start the season back in September/October? I’m not denying it’s a bad situation NOW but you were stating “the season should never have started”. And when asked...

You've constantly said it Adrian and forgive me if I'm wrong, but I have no recollection of you explaining why. 84000 and rising. And this unfinishable charade continues. Ridiculous 60,000 not 84,000. What were the numbers in September/October though when you claimed it should have never started?

Why though? Do you think we should have been in lockdown continuously for the last 9 months? Here’s one Andy, regular as clockwork. Not a clue how serious things actually are. It almost seems to cheer him up when I post. If I’m helping some in lockdown to feel important that’s great. Zzzzzzz I doub...

Re: Wrexham

It does seem increasingly unlikely the league will properly finish. Running out of midweeks already - Dover have 34 matches to play in 22 weeks and that's assuming no further postponements. What happens if matches get postponed in May as well with no time to play them? What do people think the magic...

The famous post Sutton clear out when we got rid of a keeper who never should have played (Howes) and a midfielder Dowse never fancied anyway (Gray). You forgot Meite, and Hodges... also, we did go on to take 14pts from 9 league matches following this, which kept us in the playoff mix. If we do tha...

And the 15/16 ‘festive’ wins were such a shock that we decided not to win from 9th January to 16th April to compensate. I went to that game at Wrexham on the 9th jan. Shows how bad we’ve become, very quickly if that is a serious proposition.
Effiong is a 15 goal per season striker for any team that isn't a weapons-grade dumpster fire.
Only if he’s taking 7/8 penalties a season.

Re: Match Thread: Woking v Aldersh*t

What’s happened to this “FANTASTIC” midfield we were said to have? We’ve scored in 1 of our last 6 league matches. I wouldn’t blame Davison for asking to go back to Charlton if we’re just gonna smash the ball at his head all game. Our next 8 league games aren’t easy - if we’re not careful we’ll be d...
