Re: Today’s stream

It is an important revenue stream for all national league clubs . Time to stop moaning and be grateful for the income which pays for your squad. An interesting message in the fans forum in todays NLP with somebody from Guildford saying: "I've read a lot of complaints recently about high streaming p...

Re: Match Thread - Halifax (Home)

The big disappointment for me has been Spasov! The boy looks brilliant - calm and assured on the ball in tight spots, has made some great runs (added to a really good work-rate), but hasn’t had the ball given to him with a yard of space to get a shot away. I want to see this lad start shooting! He ...

Re: Today’s stream

Why was Chesterfield's so good last week and ours isn't? I know it's run by volunteers, but the amount of crap I see on social media moaning about the price, it's going to be hard to disagree if it carries on. I don’t remember Weymouth’s cutting out much either? Plenty on here moan when other clubs...

Any idea why the sports apps are reporting it as 0-1 full time?
Because Hyde knocked in the net after the final whistle and he’s counting it.

Re: FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round

FA Cup isn’t quite the same this season is it. What the ‘draw’ of drawing Portsmouth/Sunderland when you’re playing in front of an empty stadium and don’t get a split of the gate receipts?

Re: Dowse's Thursday Catch-Up | 15/10/2020

Loving to hear most of all about the data analysis that’ll be getting going now we have a dedicated individual. This could really in time add some serious value! So underestimated in some many industries. Can add value quite easily once a data set becomes comprehensive, giving a team like ourselves...

I dont think we should ever have started

Maybe hibernating until August 21 would have been more sensible
Wouldn’t that mean clubs would have had to make all their staff redundant though? I think it was best to try and see what happens.

Re: FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round

There's going to be a lot of Conf North/South and below in the first round. Guaranteed at least 15 of them. How shit/boring have our FA Cup 4QR draws been in recent years? After our last vaguely interesting one against Hendon in 09/10 we've had: Ebbsfleet (A) Welling (H) Torquay (A) Concord (H) Maid...

Re: Match Thread - Woking v D&R

We needed a little more bite in midfield, looks like we have plenty of it now. Loved Dempseys foul as they were breaking clear in the second half, happens to us all the time Quite how Deering did not get booked for that challenge on Casey in the first half when their sub striker was down injured, I...

It was also made very clear that it was down to both the Home and Away teams to make sure Away fans (neutrals) did not gain access to the ground.. Re: FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round

It's probably the dumbest rule the government has introduced, and there's a lot of competition.

If we played Sheerwater at home, no-one could go. But if we played Sheerwater 'away' some fans would be allowed.

Make that three 1-0 losses in a row for them. No goals all season.

They’re one team who will definitely finish below us.

Why on earth are we still announcing the other results in the stadium after the game?! Probably to keep the routine. If it was quiet for BCD when the crowds come back the NIMBY neighbours would probably complain and try to get it banned The NIMBYs probably celebrated when Macc went bust as it meant...

Re: Match Thread - Woking v D&R

Horrible conditions with the ball constantly skidding on. Makes it easier to slow the game down as close it out though, should we get to 80 odd minutes 2-0 up.

I’ll be happy if you donate a £5 tonight and post poof 👍🏻
