Re: New Player Incoming!

Quite a commitment to sign an 18-year-old with zero senior minutes ("Thurlow Nunn League First Division South" notwithstanding) for the rest of the campaign. Really interested to see how he gets on. Do you think that an academy system can actually impede a young players growth? Genuine question. Wh...

Re: New Player Incoming!

Cover for Moss? Odusina replacement I reckon. Perhaps limited funds to replace a player out injured. Hopefully we get another defender to replace Dyche. Jody said. "We thought long and hard about bringing someone in on a permanent deal, but when we analysed the market we just didn’t feel we could g...

Thanks for everything Tom. Came in at a difficult time. Good luck for your future. Thinning out our front line a little more. Looks like Walker will be given far more game time than I'd have expected a few months back. Effiong a shoe, Walker a backup to O'Brien? What I do like about O'Brien is that ...

Re: Off the field problems continue

Having to decipher posts to work out what is rumour, speculation, truth or just plain gossip even when it affects peoples livelihood, well being or feelings is just part and parcel of a public forum. No one at the club is immune from our meanderings. I do hope that we would do it with a little tact ...

Coopers pauses are......... Painful. I had to listen to the interview on x2 just to make it all join up.

My favorites

"Two clear penalties, Was clean through and brought down, don't even get a foul"

"You saw the game mate, it's not for me to comment". But.....

Good effort Mark.

Re: Off the field problems continue

The COO may or may not be leaving. The CEO may present the case to the board. But the CEO isn't the owner so can't fire a board member themselves. Afaiu. So it's just shit stirring for shit stirring sake from the OP. So what if there wasn't a board member at the game. Is it a stipulation that member...

It was one of the most memorable days of my 67 year life. I didn't see you there? ;-) Not long after we got on a coach to Goodison. Parked at Anfield and left our Woking scarves on the Shankly Gates. Pretty sure we then walked across Stanley Park to Goodison and found a local pub that welcomed us i...

Sounds like some will get a chance over the next week. Some changes planned for Da Trofy and the NL Cup. His priority over seeing a few of the fringe guys come in and see what they can offer is Yeovil. If I understood his last interview correctly.

Re: Jody - no interview - brown is no more

I know neither are amazing but surely Jones is OK as a backup left back and Walker/Leahy are OK as backup strikers given that Chicken and Effiong seem to be rarely injured and play 90 mins most weeks? A centre back and a winger are definitely the most important positions to get someone in. Glad Jud...
