Re: National League meeting update

Concord Rangers have picked up their ball and taken it home. Chair says that they'll play no more games until the finance situation is resolved. <checks to see where they are in the table. Oh right. I see>

How viable would the league taking on the loan be? Surely clubs would suffer in the longer term?
maybe cancel the Trophy for a couple of seasons? Not sure what that and the rental of Wemberrleey savings would amount too?

Re: Match Prediction League - Bromley (A) - Score at 90 mins

Pens awful commentary on the penalties. At least we scored more than they did. I know some (i) were somewhat negative on the commentary. But when you break it down, with a little tuning and practice I honestly think she could be very good. A little research on players name pronunciation wouldn't ha...

Re: A question for old people

Zonal marking has killed it. In my day we all used to line up on the 18yrd box and rush the 6yrd line hoping and praying that A) The corner taker got the ball off the deck. B) If it got off the deck would it carry 50 yards. Always seemed a better tactic than standing still. The only real routine tha...

I was just trying to be"correct".
She's certainly earning her money given the turgid bollox she has to watch.
Well with names like max Kresmara, no mention who gave the penalty away, no mention of who the woking goal scorer was .. She's not helping the level of turge

BBC Radio S̶u̶r̶r̶e̶y̶ Hampshire only covering Shots game. Non stream watchers will have to tune into Radio Kent.
As a matter of interest - why don't they shift their coverage to BBC Radio Solent like the rest of the Hampshire sides?

Re: Dowse's Friday Catch-Up | 15/01/2021

Wareham is on the bench for travelling and first team 'cuddles' experience. Pretty much what Dowse said some time ago. Wareham wanted it. Others warming a bench make no sense for them at this point in their careers. A number of players right now fit into that category, BUT Dowse has also stated that...

casey

I would assume that if we had the pot of gold that the investment may bring that no player is immune from upgrade. That said - we haven't had a game manager like Casey for donkeys years. He has bundles of credit in the bank and is hugely consistent and reliable for someone with a proper full time jo...

Re: Spasov and Lofthouse loans extended

If we go full time again - it can only be with a shed load of money and the signing of players that could/should eventually get us promoted. No point, as many have said, going full time in name and appearance only to sign full time wanna bees and cast offs. I want to do a Salford when we go full time.

Re: Spasov and Lofthouse loans extended

I’m obviously not a football coach/manager but I just don’t see Spasov to be our goal scoring problem solver. Maybe we are treading water until we are full time offering decent contracts but we need an experienced mobile goal scorer with 20 in his tank. I moaned about Hyde but seeing our toothless ...

Re: Spasov and Lofthouse loans extended

any forward who prefers to go down rather than take on a defender and put them under pressure is a silly boy. I hate the way diving came into the game. Started in Italy (where a good friend of mine played at a very decent level).. He said they would spend hours practicing diving. And Casey doesn't d...
