Re: Streaming Statement

that's not the way I read that statement. What that statement tells me is that the FC realise that there is an issue, have apologised for there being an issue, and have explained that they are trying their best to resolve the issue. as has been said above, the choice is yours, you don't have to pay ...

Re: Woking 0 - 0 FC Halifax Town | Match Highlights

Not sure how he lasted the whole 90 minutes. Surely the challenge on Kane was at worst a yellow, and then he got booked (finally) in the 2nd half. a good game for a 0-0, with both teams having chances. TBF we have played 3 teams that will probably be there or thereabouts at home, are unbeaten and ha...

Re: FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round

they have only had 1 home game this season, and we are all aware of the problems they had with the streaming of that game, using a company that used 'ball tracking', which is all well and good until there is a ball out of play in front of the camera. hopefully the home side will have sorted the prob...

Re: FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round

£18k for the win. that would be nice. The prize money has been halved this season, so its £9375 for the winning team and £3125 for the losing team

Re: Match Thread - Woking v D&R

Its 1 of those tackles you like to see your players making but not when others do it

for me, I agree it was like the Shaw 1 in the recent game v Spurs, and both were lucky not to be sent off, esp as the Dempsey one was right in front of the benches

Just looking at the fixtures, and should we get drawn away in the 4th QR, win and get drawn away in the 1st R proper, our next scheduled home match after Saturday wont be until 14th November.

Re: Match Thread - Woking v D&R

There is lots of competition throughout the squad for all positions, apart from upfront. For me, that is the only position that we need to strengthen with a target man, more akin to Hyde. I like Spasov, who is raw and doesn't mind putting himself about, but I think we do require more than that, and ...

Re: Match Thread Chesterfield (A)

I will be honest, I didn't, but I am led to believe, having read the match report, that he wanted to get as many attacking players on the field as possible. Whilst I understand the reasons for that, and whilst we are all experts with hindsight, I was confused at the time if that was the right move a...

Re: Match Thread Chesterfield (A)

Having watched the game on Saturday I wasn't that disappointed in the performance, in fact I thought we played well and deserved something from the game. What I was disappointed in was the use of the subs. Max for Block made very little sense, as it moved Kane further back. There has been a lot of p...

Re: Ex-Cards - May 29th onwards

Of course that may happen, but Nathan has been on the bench already this season. They actually have 5 on loan, 1 of which is much older than Nathan at 26, so would expect that has no future at Chelsea. Of the other 4, Nathan is the oldest and more experienced, so maybe, just maybe, they are loaning ...

Re: Weymouth 0-1 Woking | Match Highlights

what those highlights show was that it wasn't a great game, but we never looked in trouble. Set pieces were really good, esp when the keeper doesn't look confident with the high ball. In fact it seems the only time he didn't come for it was when we scored. If that is what their manager thinks is 'be...

Don't think he will be. Their no 1 keeper from last year looks like he is out the door and their no 2 from last year is getting old. Yes they have signed a new keeper, but I wouldn't be surprised if Baxter stays on their books

This season at Accrington will be a good test for him

Re: Dowse's Thursday Catch-Up | 08/10/2020

It was mentioned above by Glen that we had 5 loanees already. I make we have 4 (Shotton, Cartwright, Napa & Spasov). Have I missed anyone

if that's the case, then getting Dempsey on loan would be a great bit of business.
