Would have to guess we are permanently switching to a 5 and our first two signings and Moss provide for 2 of those 5 positions between them... otherwise we have three right backs already.
2 of them can also play right centre back

Why does everyone like DKE? Genuine question! I wasn't a fan so I'm surprised we've resigned him!
Why don't you like him then?

Re: 1st Signing

Announcement should've been a clip of him watching back the equaliser from the 3-3 against Torquay, then just turning to the camera with an apologetic shrug. Playoffs in three of the last four seasons is a good thing. Versatility as a wide centre back is a good thing. Spending most of the season ou...

Re: Retained list

Is it normal for non league to have such a high turnover ? There seemed to be a new player every week under Dowse , I do get a new man wants his own players in but it’s hard to rebuild a whole team in one season. Look what a mess Sarl made having a tinker . if the players don't sign there is not mu...

James Daly has become a weird Jake Humphrey style LinkedIn high performance bro these days:

What's the issue? At least he is actually being thoughtful, rather than the usual tripe footballers spew on social media

Re: Rhys Browne

If they dont want to be here then I'm not too bothered. As I said, they would have been offered reduced terms to see if they want to be here. Lets not forget Sarll went fairly mental with contracts No way should we be offering increased contracts in terms of money or years to any of them Doyle hard...

Probably be waiting a few weeks whilst their agents test the waters.
PSFs start in July, so I'm not really expecting much players news until June.
plus a lot are still on holiday etc.

Inih Effiong in discussions with Dagenham over a new deal - would anyone have him back? Third time lucky? https://www.daggers.co.uk/news/-Nwy8TIsRcJH6yLMaq_z A weird one. He’s got a 1 in 2 scoring record at Dover (2nd season), Aldershot and Dagenham. Just never did quite as well for us. He deals dr...

Re: Ex-Player update: May 2022

Right there's two sides to this, depending on how sunny you are. Option a) Cuthbert at 37 should not have been an option in much more than an emergency. Sarll signed him to play far less games than he did in Y1 and he's played a damn sight more in Y2. Yes it's a credit to Scott, but it's an indictm...

I would suggest the highest bidder will get him.

the only plus is that it probably frees up some big wages, if Edwards doesn't sign, which sadly I don't think he will, Doyle has a very big rebuilding job!

Re: Changes to the National League - Christmas/Easter

I cant see any team in our league taking this seriously, it would be good(ish) for our youth players, players coming back from injury etc. but other than that what interest could there be? Maybe if it was £5's a ticket and kids for free and we were playing Arsenal or Chelsea's kids, the crowd would ...

with regard to having 7 substitutes a) is there enough room in the dugout? b) It could look like St Peters a/e on a Friday night for us!
it would make overnight stays for the players more expensive for clubs also.

Re: Retained list

If you include the goals Browne got for Wealdstone 22/23 it was 20 in 41 games. We don't know the terms of Korboa's deal, it "might" be on a lot less money. Why would I include Browne's goals for Wealdstone? I haven't included Pavey's goals for Farnborough. I know the broad point you're getting at ...

Being able to change half your outfield players is just wrong.
Yup. Just encourages the stockpiling of players by the ‘bigger’ teams.
Surely with our massive budget this will help us 🤔
