Re: Club Statement: New Manager Search

Sounds better than when Anthony Limbrick was the only 'applicant' interviewed. I wish/hope/augur we have blacklisted the likes of Anthony Limerick, Jim Grant and so. Do we have such a blacklist? πŸ€” Jim is great with the budget though to be fair: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Grant_(finance)

Re: New Manager

Daryl McMahon is fucking useless, he had a budget twice the size of our meaty one at Dagenham and did nothing with it. To boot, he's a fucking scummer. If there is even remotely any truth in those three then Maynard is the best option but the biggest gamble. Looks a stupider decision to pot Sarll e...

Re: New Manager

Let's hope not Heard from where? On paper, at least, you wouldn't call them an upgrade. I like what Maynard's done at Wealdstone. Would it translate to a full time club with a bigger budget and higher expectations? McMahon, think he's got a decent record at this level but Garrard would be better? B...

Re: New Manager

so what are the playing budgets then? Use companies house and look up Bromley's for that season, divide it by three and that was roughly ours. Neil Smith would be a disaster. He's a crap manager. We don't need a crap manager. oh, I thought you knew. Agreed about Smith, although is less crap to what...

How are you privy to every team's budget?
Our budget is often mentioned at the AGM (for the season just gone) and Bromley included theirs in that year's annual accounts.
so what are the playing budgets then?

Re: New Manager

Sadly, I would prefer him to ID, I think in the short term we would get an uplift just by a new voice on the training ground, that probably shows the weak mindset our current squad has. The same Neil Smith who lead a Bromley team to finish below Dowse's Woking team, on a budget that was over three ...

Re: New Manager

Is anyone slightly concerned that there isn't any sign of a manager on the immediate horizon? It's conjecture, but I wonder if the owners didn't have someone in mind before they relieved DS of his duties. ID, understandably, looked completely bereft in his interview on Saturday and a lack of a perm...

Growler - even if you loathe the bloke, can't you accept Robinson at least gives us something different than starting three holding mids every week?
Now DS has has gone, he should be given a chance along with any other player we have on loan (Wilmott), its not as if we can be any worse.....

Re: New Manager

In my view the lack of uplift is due to nothing changing, ID is the same voice saying the same thing in training every day, if anything it's worse that he was number 2 to the last (2) sacked managers, subconsciously the players and him will know he isn't going to be around for long. if the players ...

Will still need to move out half a dozen players and replace them. Would we let a short term manager do that ? Re: New Manager

Whilst the right appointment needs to be made, no doubt, we need something right now. Drew wants to nail this appointment. Fi...
