Apparently, our entire Covid capacity is linked to whether or not we get the Jarvis money and if we're allowed a bottle bar.
Has Jarvis got a sell on fee too?
Leave me alone. I was tired and trying to be amusing. And he might have for all I know!

Re: Tier 2

It cant possibly cost more to steward 1350 people than we could collect in gate money from those 1350 and the lights would be on anyway. A fellow poster did answer a question I asked on another thread about the 'bail out' money vs normal revenues. I think it would be interesting to hear whether gat...

Re: Tier 2

I wonder if it's even worth it for the club. If it's going to cost more in stewarding (which presumably will be up), staffing, the potential for contamination etc etc then perhaps we might be better served not opening. Equally if it means we can't stream (probably more for away fan revenue than any...

Re: Tier 2

Because of the spacing rules. As I understand it, this was the capacity we'd have had before second lockdown and until they hear otherwise, this will still be the limit.

Tier 2

So Woking (and pretty much everywhere has been put into tier 2.
Which means that we can have fans (roughly 1350) into Kingfield for home games.

Better than nothing I guess, but surely we'll keep the streaming in place for the time being......

Re: Match Thread: Woking v Barnet

You’d struggle to find a much clearer example of a ‘50/50 challenge’ than the incident in question. I’d be interested to hear exactly how anyone suggesting otherwise has arrived at such a conclusion. Really changed the complexion of the game, from looking comfortable at 2-0, Barnet have been much o...

Re: Match Thread: Dover Athletic v Woking

I am guessing Dowse doesn't mind playing Tuesday evenings now!? 3 wins from 4 this season I wonder if the boys working from home helps? No early morning trains into the city or long trips against the clock and rushing around (other than Ben still bless him). More rested and able to organise their t...

Re: Dover

Excellent commentary. Expected from Mark of course, but the radio Kent guy was very good and as impartial as he could be.
And he said we were better than Aldershot. which helped. ;0-)

Have to admit, I’m getting a bit fed up with this now. They’ve supposedly got improved internet but you’d think they might have done some testing on it. Picture jumpy, no sound. Same old.

Re: Weymouth boss "dismayed by Woking's tactics"

How can you possibly say we were direct? Napa scared the living fuck out of the lot of them! Our tenacity in midfield was admirable, but we weren't lumping it forward at every opportunity were we? I think he's getting us being direct mixed up with their goalkeeper being a flappy flapping flap-flappe...
