Post by Nick » Wed Jun 24, 2020 9:26 am

Our chairman was interviewed on BBC Surrey this morning about last night's planning committee meeting, I've uploaded it to make it easier for fans to hear:

Thanks for sharing, Nick. Whatever does happen next I hope Rosemary is at the helm. Woking through and through and will no doubt do what's best for the club. If she can't see a way forwards and steps down, it'll be a real concern IMO.

It’s alright. Someone on here is bound to win the Euromillions one day...

I’m not sure of the appeals process or if there’s anywhere to appeal after WBC planning ?
However I wouldn’t be surprised if we see an appeal, losing some floors possibly, question is how high will they accept ?

Can we not get the new High Sheriff of Surrey to intervene?

I've been reading about him. He claims to have an interest in football and, apparently, has always (quote) 'lived and breathed Surrey'.

He must surely be able to help...

Well whatever happens, I'm proud to have a lady like Rosemary as chairman. Have spoken to her on a few occasions and she's always had time for me.

Sounds like she is absolutely gutted in that interview and I bet she's put hours and hours and hours into all this.

Something good will happen to us, one day.
