Bit strange, because Goddard was apparently very impressive in his Eastleigh trial. So it would seem that cash-strapped Ebbsfleet are still able to offer more than Eastleigh.

Or about the same with the lure of working for GH tipping the balance, the manager who propelled him to his original successes

Its got to be the Garry Hill effect and nothing else. The club has nothing else going for it has it?!

Super Podcast Really enjoyable. Whilst he was very complementary about Woking and the Fans. Interesting snippet About David Taylor allegedy offering him the Job then going behind his back and appointing Frank Gray.

Naked Leader strikes again ?
Some great comments from Smudger. If you listen carefully he actually says DT offered him the job and Colin Lippiatt went behind DT's back and offered it to Gray, but don't let the facts spoil a good story.

Not to twist the knife any further, but Armani Little's goal last night was absolutely spectacular.

Well... Italian retirement for workers... is driving me crazy: last year I got a letter saying I had to work 'till 68 y.o. (Actually, 9 more bloody years...).
That shall bring unemployment for young people (they have to wait for me or... pray the Almighty I disappear earlier!) but... is under discussion a revised version shortening the years to work, maybe 3 or 4.
I'd like I had two good feet and retire as footballer at 36... and relax somewhere under a large canopy.

Be fair, that is a reasonable result for Braintree, seeing as they only had nine men...

Mike Cestor joins Cluj - Napoca in Romania.. He's doing well there
He could face Celtic in the next round of the Champion’s League, if both sides get through this round. He’s done alright for himself. Glad he came back after what was a bad injury.

Noel Leighton has been signed by Margate FC after leaving D&R. Kadell Daniel is also on loan there.

Thanks Adrian, I actually laughed out loud at that one, but I'm too old to just put LOL.

Kevin Betsy has recently been made England U-17 manager.

Not a bad role for King Kev..!

I see Jamie Philpott has signed for Staines Town. Now I know he wasn’t everyone’s cup of team but surely he’s better that that 😲

A special mention for Chobham Card for starting what could be a record-breaking, never-ending thread.

Bradbury is playing for Millwall's U23s this evening against Welling. Was sent off in the first half for kicking off with Sanchez Ming.

Wow he really has fallen... I watched him as a trialist for us at Badshot Lea and he struggled to impress. Surely he can do better than Staines Town!
